i wanna pursue ba pol sc from miranda house delhi university...can i skip general test in cuet

Hello aspirant,

To enroll in the B.A Psychology (Hons.) program at Delhi University, you must fulfill the criteria of selecting one language from list A, two subjects from B1, and one subject from either B1 or B2.

So to pursue Pol science, you are not required to give general test.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

I have B.A.(Hons) Sociology in Miranda house , Delhi university right now and i also gave nid's entrance exam this year . So which is better nid or du? should i drop out of miranda house for nid?

Hello,

B.A hons. Sociology and NID are two different fields one is a degree course and other is a professional course in designing.in b.a sociology it not only provides knowledge of the books but also provides knowledge more about fieldwork and practice. placement is decent as many companies visit for on campus placement.

NID also provides internship and placement to the students in designing field.so it is upto you which course you want to pursue.dont go for good value and placement college you end up with frustration after sometime if you are not interested in the field.

Hope you understand...

I have got 100 marks in each physics chemistry and biology in class 12th boards I want to take admission in Miranda house for bsc Zoology will it take top 3 subjects of science or top 4 which will include english as well as I'm getting 100 in top 3 and 97.18 in top 4

Hello,

The eligibility criteria to get admission to B.Sc Zoology is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry minimum 55% aggregate marks and 50% aggregate marks in English from a recognized board. The merit the is calculated by considering the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry only. So, by taking the marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology your merit score would be 100. Last year in 3rd special round a candidate belonging to general category secured admission to B.Sc Zoology in Miranda House with 97.00  marks. Considering the previous year cut off you have decent chances of getting seat in B.Sc Zoology in the preferred college.

Cut off changes every year depending on total number of candidates applied. marks scored, total number of seats available etc.To check the previous year cut off click on the link below
