Hello student,
each year the cutoff trend changes. NIFT 2020 cutoff will be released on their official website.
You have not mention in which category you belongs to. But in this rank you may get a sit in NIFT (probably not in Delhi) if you belongs to sc or st category. Click on the link below to see the previous year cutoff of NIFT.
Hello,
You have not mentioned whether you belong to OBC-NCL or OBC-Cl. If you belong to OBC-CL then you are not entitled to claim reservations and you will be treated as general category candidate. And with CMR 5000 you cannot get admission in any of NIFT campuses. But if you belong to OBC-NCL then you may get seat in the following colleges based on 2019 cut off

Cut off changes depending on number of seats available in a particular course, difficulty of exam, number of candidates applied etc.

Hello,
There is no specific answer to this. You need to score the minimum cut off rank to get admission in NIFT. Cut off depends on the NIFT campus, course applied you want to get admission in, number of candidates appeared, number of seats available, number of candidates applied to a particular course etc. Here is the NIFT last rank list 2019 who got admission in NIFT in various branches, you will get some idea about the cut off trends https://static.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/Latest-Last-Merit-Rank-2019_0.pdf
Now, there are approximately 3590 seats in B.Des and BFT so your rank must be within 3000 to have decent chances of getting seat in any NIFT campus.Cut off changes every year depending on the above mentioned factors.
Hello student I'm sorry to inform you but with this rank its difficult to get admission in Nift Delhi campus as it's first choice of every aspirant and seats are very limited. You can use careers360 college predictor to predict college on th basis of rank refer to the link mentioned below - https://www.google.com/amp/s/design.careers360.com/articles/nift-college-predictor/amp
I request you to please help me that you've secured this rank for which program B.ftech or B.design so that I can check and provide you the exact information.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
With this CMR chances you stand nowhere in the race of counseling or getting admission in any of the NIFT's, being a general category student.
I am saying these things just on the basis of previous year cutoffs. If you consider previous year cutoffs of NIFT Kangra also then you will get to know that the closing rank for Textile Design was around 3200, which is the least preferred.
All the best!!
Generally cutoffs changes each and every year because of it's dependency on various factors like , no. of students appearing for he exam, difficulty level of the paper, etc. But we generally get some idea from previous year cutoffs.
So if you consider previous year cutoffs then i think it would be very difficult for you to get a seat in any of the NIFT campus.
All the best!!
NIFT Delhi boasts a modern and well-equipped campus that provides a conducive environment for creativity and learning. The infrastructure is designed to meet the needs of aspiring fashion professionals, with state-of-the-art facilities that cater to every aspect of design education. The campus houses spacious classrooms, design studios, and well-stocked libraries. The design studios, in particular, are equipped with the latest technology, sewing machines, and pattern-making tools, which are essential for hands-on learning. The fabric library is extensive, giving students access to a wide variety of materials to experiment with. The campus also features well-maintained hostels, canteens, and recreational areas, ensuring that students can maintain a balance between academic and personal life. The campus is located in the heart of Delhi, which further adds to its appeal, offering students easy access to major fashion events, exhibitions, and industry hubs. The campus's aesthetics are modern and professional, fostering an atmosphere that promotes creativity and innovation. However, with its heavy focus on practical work, there could be an increased emphasis on upgrading and expanding certain areas, especially as the institution continues to grow. Overall, the infrastructure at NIFT Delhi supports the learning needs of students and helps them prepare for the competitive world of fashion.
The college infrastructure is great. The library is really good and has air conditioning. the college doesnt have sports centre or hostel. the canteen served food is fine. but there is not much cleanliness in the canteen. overall the college is fine except some issues.
Overall infrastructure is good, has a library, a resource center. One can get a good resource that is not available outside the campus, for examples books and magazines that are not available outside at any bookstore
