This college has basic infrastructures in place, but specifically for my department, the facilities feel quite inadequate. Our classrooms are extremely small and feel very cramped. Student facilities in the department are limited (however the campus as a whole has good facilities). Hygiene is a major concern, as rats have been spotted occasionally, and essential facilities like water dispensers and ACs are frequently under repair. The washrooms are poorly maintained, and the water supply is irregular.
I am studying Clinical Psychology. Here, the professors are extremely well qualified, however they very rarely show up to our classes due to their own personal, departmental or clinic related work. I believe that my curriculum is updated enough, however it is not detailed enough with specific relevance to the clinical setting
My course does not have the concept of placements. However, we have clinical postings and internships within SRM General Hospital itself which provide great exposure to the hospital setting and allow us to obtain experience.
My tuition fees are Rs. 75,000 per year. I definitely believe that I am getting my money's worth as almost all college courses are minimum 1 lakh per year. Within this 75,000, I am receiving adequate clinical exposure as well as decent facilities.
Campus life is very good in the sense that there are many events to keep students engaged, to unwind after a day full of classes and a good balance between academics and enjoyment. There are always club to join, opportunities to participate in cultural events both within campus and held by other colleges as well as concerts and festival celebrations. Ragging culture is quite common in or around campus by the students in addition to harassment commonly in ways such as catcalling. The teachers and support staff do fulfill their duties by preventing this as much as possible and the campus is able to handle any sort of emergency.
SRM medical college has modern labs, decent classrooms, well equipped hospital tie ups and a large campus. However, maintenance varies by block. library is excellent but some hostel facilities can improve.
Curriculum is structured with clinical exposure. faculty are knowledgeable but teaching style can be inconsistent. good focus on practical skills for critical care technology with hospital rotations helping solidify learning.
Hospital internships are strong, leading to decent placement offers in private hospitals. salaries can be modest for freshers. career support exist but could be better streamlined for allied health courses.
Yes my college has all facilities. Classes are air conditioned. Hostels have WiFi , have recreation, have gym equipments. Mess have cleanliness . Food is hygienic. Classes have smart boards. Libraries have fully stocked books.
I am studying MBBS because I have always found interest in this course. Quality of teaching is good. Curriculum is up to date. Prof are all trained to teach. Environment is good to study here. Overall quality is good.
Quality of placement is good. We have our own hospital and almost all the doctors are placed here. Internship is also provided here. College is also very supportive in the placement. Package offered is also good.
My mbbs course cost per year is 22.5lac. Yes my money in the college is totally worth it.as it provide so much facility and curriculum. And we get all the opportunity which is worth the money. Overall review is good.
College campus is very greenery and peace. All the sports facilities are provided including soccer, badminton, tennis, etc. Students, teachers, are very supportive. Environment is very safe . There a place to walk.
Amazing.
