Classrooms and labs are functional and well-equipped for coursework, and the campus itself is spread out with decent common spaces. Hostel and library facilities cover the essentials, though there's scope for further upgrades to match the scale of the institute. Wi-fi and basic amenities are generally reliable.
The curriculum for CSE with AI & ML specialization is well-structured and relevant to industry trends. The exam pattern is fair and reasonably predictable, and the overall workload feels justified - manageable without being overwhelming, giving room to also pursue other interests on campus.
As I'm only a year into the program, I don't have firsthand placement experience yet, but from what I've observed so far, the placement scene looks decent. I'll be able to speak to this with more confidence closer to my final years.
For the fees, SRM offers a solid overall package - good curriculum, approachable faculty, and decent infrastructure, plus strong extracurricular opportunities to build a well-rounded college experience. It may not be the cheapest option out there, but the exposure and campus life make it a reasonably worthwhile investment, especially if you make the most of what's on offer beyond just academics
What's made my time at SRM genuinely enjoyable so far is the extracurricular scene - I'm active in the theatre club, and it's been one of the best parts of college life here. Beyond academics, SRM offers a good platform to explore interests outside the classroom, which has made the transition into college life much more fun
College is of 27 acres and has sufficient greenery for fresh air. Though it lacks your basic general store. Campus has multiple canteens for your hostellers as well as day scholars. Classrooms are well air conditioned and if there is an issue it will get solved within a day or two. Wi-fi blockers are installed all the over the campus. There is a basketball court, Volleyball court, cricket ground etc. Campus gets cleaned every day and buildings are actually very well maintained. And washrooms meet your hygiene level perfectly.
Currently studying CSE w specialisation in Data Science. Faculty is from all major institutions who have immense knowledge to distribute. I love how they are trying to keep with the market demands. Like in my second year AWS was added and in my first year Aptitude classes were added. I definitely feel curriculum is well rounded and gets updated every year.
College provides all the necessities to get you placed. Top companies like JP morgan to mass recruiters all come here for the placement drive. for the batch of ‘25 around 60-70 students were placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs. Highest being 35 lakhs. College starts preparing you in fourth semester only with mock interviews etc. It’s a very pleasant experience as students get to visit Chennai too in their fourth year.
For CSE- Data Science it costs 2.7 lakhs per year. I do feel like my money is being used for good. Curriculum is well rounded and the unwavering support from college means a lot.
10/10 on campus life for sure. I love you have so many clubs you can be a part of. I am currently part of Aarzoo(Drama Society) and Bitbucks(fintech) and it’s been an amazing journey. And always some event is coming which you can always be a part of.
The infrastructure is functional and modern, though the overall physical campus area is relatively compact compared to government universities or the main KTR campus. • Classrooms & Labs: Classrooms are air-conditioned and fitted with smart boards, projectors. Computer labs are well equipped with high speed internet, working systems and required software tools. • Library: The central library is well stocked with textbooks, research journals and digital portals offering a quiet environment for studying during exams. • Hostel: Hostels offer both AC and Non-AC rooms (primarily 2 seater and 3 seater options). The mess food is average—passable, with a mix of North and South Indian menus though the International Boarding House hostel offers better food. • Sports and campus grounds: There are basic facilities for basketball, badminton, volleyball and indoor games. Ground is well enough for playing cricket and football.
Since CSE is the flagship program here, specializations in AI/ML, Data Science, and Cloud Computing include relevant coursework like Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and DevOps early in the third year. - Exam Structure: The evaluation relies on internal exams alongside lab exams, internal assignments and end semester finals. The schedule stays fairly tight, so you have to keep up continuous preparation rather than cramming last minute. - Attendance Policy: SRM strictly enforces the 75% minimum attendance rule. Falling below this will get you debarred from writing exams unless you have medical proof, so attending classes regularly is mandatory. - While the curriculum provides a strong foundation, textbook learning alone won't make you job-ready. You will need to build independent projects, practice DSA on LeetCode, and leverage self-study resources alongside college coursework.
Placement is one of the biggest reasons students choose SRM NCR over local state colleges. The major advantage is access to centralized placement drives alongside the main Kattankulathur (KTR, Chennai) campus. To sit for top recruiters, you must maintain a CGPA above 8.0 without active backlogs. If you have solid coding skills and good aptitude scores, getting a decent package is very achievable.
SRM IST Delhi-NCR is a solid, practical choice if you want the brand recognition and placement network of a major deemed university while staying in the NCR region. However, your final placement package will heavily depend on how much effort you put into self-learning outside classroom hours.
Campus Life: Campus life is vibrant if you get involved in student clubs. The annual fest (Rubaroo) brings energy and entertainment to the campus. The college is situated on the Delhi-Meerut road in Modinagar/Ghaziabad access to the NCR region via the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and RRTS Namo Bharat train has made commuting significantly easier than in past years. Students can travel to Delhi or nearby places easily during weekends.
My experience at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Delhi NCR campus) have been a combination of positives and some areas for improvement. The campus facilities are adequate with good classroom facilities and basic facilities which facilitate teaching and learning activities. It's generally a helpful and approachable facility, although the quality of teaching may differ from subject to subject. Content is relevant to the industry, allowing students to experience core concepts and learning. The life of the campus is very active and there are various clubs, events and activities for overall personality development. But placements are still om the rise as compared to the main campuses and extra efforts are required from the students to get good offers. It is comfortable for new students; the environment is friendly and safe. In general, SRM Delhi NCR is a strong foundation for learning and development, but achieving success requires hard work and dedication.
The education system of SRM Institute of Technology (Delhi NCR) is somewhat balanced and has its pros and cons. The curriculum is well-designed to meet the needs of the industry today and provide the students with a firm grounding in their field. Consistent assignments, assessments and practical sessions allow for consistent learning and evaluation. Lab facilities are sufficient and offer hands-on experience but can be modernized. Library and online resources such as electronic materials can be useful for independent study. In general, the academics are good foundation but require students to go out of their way and work extra hard to make good use of and excel.
The placement of the at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Delhi NCR campus) is developing and shows gradual improvement over the years. While it may not match the placement strength of older or main campuses, the university is making efforts to bring in more companies and opportunities for students. A mix of service-based and some product-based companies visit the campus, offering roles in technical as well as non-technical domains. However, students often need to take initiative beyond campus opportunities by applying off-campus and building strong profiles. Overall, placements are decent for those who stays consistent and proactive but replying solely on campus placements may not be sufficient for top-tier opportunities.
In terms of value for money, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Delhi NCR campus) offers a moderate return or investment. The fees are relatively high compared to other private institutions, but the campus provides decent infrastructure, academics facilities and exposure opportunities that justify part of the cost. Students get access to basic amenties, labs, libraries, and extracurricular activities that contribute to overall development. Overall, SRM Delhi NCR can be considered value for money for students who are proactive and utilize available resources effectively, but it may not fully justify the cost for those expecting high returns solely through campus support.

Srm IST infrastructure is not so good as it contains only one building and the rest is hostels And there are not good variety of options here. And the rooms here are too small for accomodation of three people
The academics is just average you have to rely on yourself for studies and all the teachers just touch the tip of the iceberg. They don't deeply involve in the subject they are teaching. So you have to rely on ope nsource learning platforms like YouTube and chatgpt.
Placement is not that good here. We have to travel to chennai in order to get placement. And its not necessary for someone to get placed even after travelling so much. Even mass recruiters doesn't like this college.
The total for studying btech cse is less compare to other colleges like shivnadar and vit So it is kind of good in sense of value for money. But keep in mind that SEM KTR main campus have high campus as compare to this college
Campus life is bad as the crowd is cringe and filled with wanna be cool/gangsters here. The crowd is filled with low iq. Constant fights and trouble is what we have to see on a daily basis
No that's it from my side
Yes, srm ist ghaziabad provides most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipement required for academic and overall developement. The classroom are well occupied with modern teaching aids such as projectors and smart boards.
I am currently pursuing my career in b.tech computer science and enggineering. With specialization in data science because i am interested in maths and data science involves a lot of graphs and stuff. Soo yeah and about the teaching quality its average to be honest nothing else than maths makes sense to me . I have to learn everything on my own.
As far as i have reached on talking with my seniors i came across this information that our college's placement is good as it is affiliated with the ktr campuses and i have also seen people getting off campus placements so yeah the scope mostly depends on your skill set that is what i got to know.
Honestly we student pay a lot in btech programs and roi is not that much until you are skilled enough but yeah it certainly worth it if you try hard enough then you wont regret it.
Campus life is not that good as constant fights and trouble happens all over the campus its not that good from my pov
No thanks that's all i want to say
I am pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CSE AIML) because of the vast career opportunities in this field. The quality of teaching at my college is quite good, as the professors are well-qualified and use practical examples to explain complex concepts. The curriculum is updated regularly to include recent developments like deep learning and neural networks, which helps in keeping us competitive. I believe the subjects we study are relevant to current industry standards, making us more job-ready. The hands-on lab sessions and projects further enhance our technical skills, ensuring we are prepared for the challenges of the tech industry. Would you like me to write the "Placements" section for you as well?

the infrastructure is very nice and very amazing, it is well build and all the lab inventory is well kept and well maintained, at the same time the classroom's infrastructure is very nice and have enough comfortable space.
The curriculum is designed to cover fundamental computer science subject such as programming, data stuctures, algorithms, operating systems, and data managment. The faculty members are qualified, with holding M.Tech or PhD degree.
many well known companies visit the campus for recruitment, including amazon, microsoft, tcl, deloitte, and jp morgan. The overall placement is reported to be around 80 to 90% for eligible students and that is amazing.
The college provides decent infrastructure, including well equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, and a supportive academic environment. In terms of investment, the average package for engineering students is around 6 to 8 lakhs.
The campus life is good, they have diffrent varities of canties. The sports facility is not very good but the eqippment for sports are available. The clubs and groups tend to rely the fun activities on the fest and programs
College infrastructure is great and clean . A little small if you're gonna compare with Government college, but overall it is great and well maintained with three canteens and 3-4 grounds with basketball court, badminton court.
Since it is SRM so yeah studies are prioritized , good subjects for the course you will choose. There will be 2-3 internals and then semester examination. Quality of teaching would be all online there is a library too.
College do brings a variety of different companies from Amazon to TCS it is just that the ratio of Student getting placed is less, otherwise you get enough opportunities. If you perform well you will get the opportunity to go to SRM-KTR.
Yeah it is a value for money
Campus life is normal like all other colleges,if you participate in clubs it would a plus point.
THE CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURE IS GOOD THE HAVE ALL AMENITIES AND REQUIREMENTS. THE CAMPUS SIZE IS VERY SMALL. DOES NOT HAVE ANY GOOD SPORTS FACILITY, GYM IS VERY SMALL............ THEY DO HAVE VERY MUCH RESTRICTIONS.
THE TEACHERS IS THIS CAMPUS ARE VERY STRICT AND FOCUSES A LOT ON ACADEMICS. THE CONDUCT EXAMS ON A REGULAR BASIS , AND A VERY STRICT IN CONDUCTING THEM .
THE PLACEMENTS CELL IS QUITE GOOD AS WE HAVE A LOT OFF PLACEMENTS THIS ACADEMIC YEAR, BUT TO SIT IS PLACEMSTS YOU HAVE TO HAVE A QUITE GOOD CGPA . AND WE ARE DAILY GETTING NEWS ABOUT THE STUDENRS PLACED EVRY DAY
THE COLLEGE IS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY BECAUSE IT LACKS IN CAMPUS LIFE AND THE LOCATION THE CAMPUS IS NOT GOOD AS IT IS LOCATED NEAR MURADNAGAR AND MODINAGAR , AND LOCALS ARE VERY ABUSIVE AND QULAITY OF STUDENTS IS BAD
Hello, the academic environment at SRM IST, Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad is generally considered good. The university has experienced faculty, modern classrooms and laboratories, practical learning opportunities, seminars, workshops, and industry-focused activities to support students' learning and overall development.
You can read student reviews to learn about their academic experience: SRM
Generally, it's a decent school and has pretty much every office accessible. Positions: 88% situation record. The most noteworthy bundle offered is 40 LPA, the least is 5 LPA. 80% of the understudies got entry-level positions.
For CSE, SRM Ghaziabad is better. The Ghaziabad grounds are old and offer better
Hi,
In my opinion, you should go for KIET.
SRM being a deemed university is entirely different from the colleges which are affiliated to Aktu (Abdul kalam technical university).
KIET is best in all respects whether it is related to Academics or extra curricular activities. The college aims just not
