As a 3rd-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering student specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, I feel that the overall value for money is not very satisfactory, considering the high tuition fees and additional expenses involved. Although the college offers a large campus, modern infrastructure, and various academic facilities, the quality of education and student experience do not always seem proportional to the amount paid.

As a 3rd-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering student specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, I would say that campus life is one of the more enjoyable aspects of the college experience. The campus is large, with plenty of places to hang out with friends, relax between classes, and participate in extracurricular activities. There are various clubs, student communities, technical events, cultural festivals, and competitions that give students opportunities to explore their interests, meet new people, and develop skills outside academics.

In general it's good. There are a lot of old buildings but they are improving a lot. Most of the labs have necessary equipments but there are old equipments as well. We have good spacious and smart classrooms. We do have a good library. Hygiene wise the food is fine and the living spaces are also good.

I am currently pursuing btech biotechnology in SRM. I wanted to do researches so I took it. The faculties are qualified from well known institutions and they will help you out if you are in need of it but you shouldn't expect them to teach everything, most of the time it's self learning. Yeah to a certain extend the curriculum is updated but still improvement is needed. Yes It does prepare me for the job that I need.

It's pretty good actually but the competition is very high. Last year the percentage of students placed was around 94% and the highest package offered is 60lpa. Cse courses are getting more placement opportunities. The average salary offered is 6.3lpa. SRM is quite supportive and they give you a lot of opportunities but you need to work a little more harder to get what you need.

For my course it's 2.75L per year. They do provide us with good opportunities but I feel like they don't guide us enough and that should be improved. It is a bit expensive according to me but it's ok considering the packages offered.

Campus is very large but heavily crowded. Best thing about SRM is there are a lot of clubs to join and explore new things, even the faculties promote it a lot. Worst feature is the crowd itself. Students, teachers and support staffs are all approachable and they'll help you. The campus is safe and it can handle emergencies.

In our campus layout is very spacious and offers a solid environment for learning. Our classrooms are along with projector screens and comfortable seating arrangements. Computer laboratories are very good for learning .

The academics structured and covers theoretical alongside practical understanding. Teaching faculty members are reached, explaining tricky concepts clear and explain for understanding the concepts good .

Placement support is very good for the final year, with companies visiting for software development and different roles. In our training department organizes aptitude practice sessions, group discussion.

In our college offer great balance between formal education and personal growth. Studies alongside motivated peers and having supportive teachers makes the overall journey memorable and learning for engineering students.

Yes the college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms , labs, library, computer facilities and other equipment’s are well maintained . The college also provides the facilities needed for extracurricular activities

I was studying btech civil engineering . The quality of teaching is good and the faculty members are supportive and approachable. The curriculum covers the important subjects and in Civil Engineering also there are ASCE clubs and many for for civil engineering students to participate.

For Civil Engineering the number of companies visiting the campus is comparatively less as compared to CSE departments. However the placement opportunities are still decent. In our class who all sat for the placements most of them got placed .

The tuition fees for my course was 2.5 Lakhs excluding hostel fees and other additional expenses. Considering the facilities and college experience it was reasonable.

The campus is spacious and has good facilities for students . One of the best thing is the availability of different clubs from cultural to technical clubs will be there .

The placements opportunities provideby college are good several companies visiting campus for the recruitment the placement cell supporters students by conducting technical training and aptitude test mock tests mock interviews and placement preparation sessions

The course provides good value on money spent considering the academic facilities and infrastructure learning resources and overall campus experience the college offers various opportunities for students who develop their technical and soft skills

The campus life is vibrant and enjoyable with a friendly atmosphere and plenty of opportunities to interact with students from different backgrounds the college organises various technical events organising cultural events also

I would rate it 5 on 5 coz this place is something that gives lot of choices to explore what u really meant to become.And u will have good infrastructure with a hind of modernization with escalators and others. And also the laboratories are well provided with equipments. Everything is nice and clean, u will lots of options for food along with hygiene.

This place is very student friendly,the faculties are very much involved in helping students with their interested paths. BTW there have many improvements in the curriculum which includes special focus on the subject that are most likely to provide jobs.

First of all the college is very supportive and the placement persentage is 85-95% which is very good. Highest is 60LPA from CSE department. For me till now I mean I just entered 3rd year so there are many more things I should be doing right now

Tution fee for my course is 3L per year. And I feel like it completely worth the studies and experiences

The campus is very lovely and always vibrant and also kind of peacefull. There are many clubs and domains where u can participate as ur liking and staff very supportive to that. U will get op for the imp events.

Nice campus, very large, modern and developed. Has academic blocks, hostels , food outlets, libraries all within and around the campus. Has a very good auditorium as well with a capacity of 3000. Great infrastructure.

There are plenty of qualified faculty and research active departments. Teaching is really amazing as well. Industry oriented with electives projects, internships and opportunities for interdisciplinary work.

Good opportunities after academics, with many recruiters especially if youre in cse, it, ece or other tech related branches. Highest package reaches to ₹65 lakh per annum while the average salary for engineering is ₹6 lakh per annum

You get an amazing campus with great faculty, strong infrastructure, good academics, lots of clubs and activities and good placement opportunities but the price varies depending on your branch. It also depends on your rank

The campus is huge and lively with a lot of students and lots of clubs activities and cafes all in or near the campus and lots of sports as well. it’s pretty diverse with students from all over India.

The infrastructure of the college is awesome and it's one of the colleges in India in terms of infrastructure, since i joined the college and till now it has developed a lot , they're mainly focusing on the infrastructure only

Academics here are decent only, you can study through ppts , books and teachers also here are like very experienced and they teach very well , the exams here also are easy to pass and score good grades

The placement factor is one of the most important factor when you're looking for a private engineering college and specially in south india , the placements here are average and can be easily improved according to the students

The amount i am paying for this college is pretty decent and if i get the return of investment that i am expecting from this college should be enough for me in the early days of getting placed that's all what i want

Campus is Crazy , you'll find each and everything here like everything, the campus is huge and green , consist of hospital, playground and other important stuffs , the railway station is also nearby and the campus is safe also

Infrastructure of SRMIST chennai is actually very nice and it's very aesthetic, the buildings are so nice and huge and everything is so neat and clean and the campus have each and every facility that we need

The curriculum here is very nice and the faculties here are also very nice , they teach very well and the way of their teaching is also very nice , the exams are conducted very wisely and they're easy to pass

Placements here are not good at all , all the companies that visit here are limited and not that good amount of students gets placed here in this srm college, average package is around 3-4 lakhs and that's less

The roi i.e. return of investment that's basically what you see when you join a private college here is not that good , id you're spending 30-40 lakhs in your btech program you need to get good placement

Campus is very nice , sports facilities and hospital facilities are also very nice , local railway station , bus, airport everything is very close so the transportation is also very easy , the students are also nice

My college is very outstanding. We have spacious air conditioned classrooms that have seats for all students, a huge library with all books, many hostels, and sports compound as well with all sports facilities like ground, court, and pool.

The quality of teaching is very good and all the syllabus and courses are up to date. The library has all books so we can refer them. The teachers are friendly and open to clearing doubts as well. I’m studying CSE CORE.

The placements are nice and students get what they expect based on their qualifications and achievements. The maximum package was 1 crore. If you have 9 plus cgpa, you tend to get good package and what you’re expecting.

I’m paying four lakhs eithty thousand which I’m getting a good return of investment. Even hostel costs around two lakh. The placements help in recovering the money so it’s a decent value for money for all students.

Campus life is nice there are big roads and lot of greenery along with canteens everywhere, shops with essentials, juice shops to beat the heat. It is located on city outskirts next to railway station so transport is easy.
