The library is amazing, with 3 floors of many varieties of books. There is air conditioning as well making it comfortable in the humid weather. The B. Tech courses have better classrooms and arts and science departments have old classrooms and no AC.
The professors were narrow-minded and dismissed mental health of the students. They were biased towards certain students and targeted others. The quality of education and resource provision can be improved significantly
There are placement opportunities. Only a handful get good opportunities while most people are stuck with mediocre ones. The promise of placements and infrastructure is what most people signed up for, so improvements are needed in that area.
Course fees are cheaper but adequate facilities are not provided. the classrooms get stuffy and uncomfortable to sit in. the hostels are very expensive with facilities but they are too strict with allowing people to go outside and in timings.
there are good eateries. the library is commendable. many events take place giving students opportunities to socialize and express themselves. there are many students from different backgrounds and there are opportunities to connect with them.
The college is okay. more than education, it's known for the campus life.
Good college infrastructure, my college had all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. The classrooms had centralised AC with Smart port for teaching. The Wi-Fi were maintained properly everywhere..
I was studying computer science with specialisation in cloud computing. The quality of teaching is fine. We had proper assignments and mock test and surprise test. The teachers are very approachable throughout the day and specially just before the exam.
My college guaranteed maximum placement and gave placements to every student. The companies coming to our college was in every year. Be it mass or the top mark companies more than 85 % students were placed
My course costed about two lakhs per year. I feel I did not get my money’s worth because I was a Covid batch to most critical years of my college went in Covid due to which I did not get a chance to go to the classroom and study in a live in environment..
My college campus all the best. All the activities were organised in my college the support, staff and teachers are very approachable during the whole function.
The college has good infrastructure and good maintainance also good quality of products We have all the common facilities and major infrastructure and the facilities are too good and cas be used easily.
I am currently in 2nd year studying b.tech in cse with cn and the quality of teaching is also good comparatively to other srm campus No our circullum is till dated good and not need to be changed now
The quality of placements in our college is average but it also assure that all the students are being placed. But on the the other hand the placement is 66% in 2025. The average salary offered was 8-10lpa
As compared to the other colleges our degree is value for money and it also gives the output and the experience of studying and exploring the field I feel getting My money worth because I know I will be placed somewhere
The campus life in our college is not that much good not that much bad but yeah comparatively we enjoy a lot new activities new adventure and new enthusiasm on the students that make our campus life an average but good
College infrastructure is outstanding with hi-tech buildings and research centers equipped with centralised aur conditioners and smart boards. Every classroom has comfortable chairs and desk for effective learning.
Academics in this college is very good. Regular assignments, project based learning and projects are given to students for better understanding of the topics. Regular class tests are held to test the topics they learned.
Placements is not upto the mark in this college as compared to its fees. This is because of the crowd in the college. Average placements is too low and highest package is dropping year by year. Better placement is required
The fees for certain courses in this college is very high. Whereas the return of investment is too low. My course costed me 4.75 lakhs per year excluding hostel and mess fees. I think my money is not getting worth.
The campus is of 250+ acres. The campus has lots of lush plants and trees spread across the campus. The college has a huge swimming pool, basketball courts, gym, a cricket stadium, football ground and other sports also.
Yes my college has good infrastructure, facilities and equipment. In classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hotels are good, regularly used and well mentioned and also it has smart integration with technologies. I mean the quality of food is not that much good but yeah we can eat that.
I am in my second year doing B.tech in cse with cn because i have a huge interest in the technical field with my strong background in coding. Yes the curriculum at my college is regularly updated and includes recent technologies.
It has an avenge placement matrix. But they also give opportunity to the master minds and gives an overall of 65% guaranteed placed students. The average salary of the students is between 8-10 lakhs per annum
Per year its 375000 I feel its worth because of the experience the exposure i'm getting and hoping for the best placement in my career
Yes in our college the campus life is good we enjoy a lot. They are very cooperative and helping.
Overall a very well experienced studying there. Made lots of friends and the infrastructure is well designed in the way to facilitate all the students for their studies and to accommodate for their comfort
Overall Good and the teaching methods and very well designed in the way to develop the students in their curriculum and in their teaching environment it was an over all experience of learning and mentoring.
The placements assistance is provided for 4 years after the completion of the course also the placements are from prominent companies and firms and it was a good CTC for freshers and graduates. Overall good
Being a student at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, I would say the infrastructure is decent but definitely not perfect. The campus is uch smaller compared to the main KTR campus, and that us something almost every student notices immidiately
Academically, SRM Institute of Science and Technology is honestly above average com[ared to many private engineering colleges in Chennai. Most faculty members are qualified and supportive, especially if students genuinely show intrest in learning.
Placements are probably one of the stronger points of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, especially for CSAE-related branches. Many reputed companies visit for recruitement, and students with strong coding skills and good CGPA.
The value for money aspect of SRM Institute of Science and Technology is mixed. The fees are definitely on the expensive side for many middle-class families, especially when hostel and aditional expenses are included.
Campus life at SRM Institute of Science and Technology is honestly one of the weaker areas compared to bigger private universities. Because the campus is small and located within the city, students do not get the typical large-campus university experience.
The college infrastructure is really great. The condition of classrooms , availibilty of state of the art lab equipment and the library resources. the quality of hostels , canteens and even the medical support is great
it is outstanding. the teaching is also great. Love how the faculty is very supportive. The curriculum is weel structured and aligns with current industry standards making the theoritical concepts easy
The training and placement cell was proactive organizing numerous mock interviews and resume building sessions that greatly boosted my confidence. I appreciate the wide range of top tier companies brought to campus.
the college offers exceptional value for money with tuition fees that directly translate into high quality practical learning experiences and modern lab facilities. the return on investment here is impressive.
really enjoyed the campus life. the campus culture is incredibly inclusive ,and i appreciate the diverse student body that makes everyone feel welcome the library and study spaces are excellent , providing a quiet and productive environment for focused work.
The college provides a well-structured and student-friendly infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular development. The campus is neatly maintained, with spacious buildings and a peaceful learning environment.
The college follows a well-structured and student-oriented curriculum that balances both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The syllabus is updated regularly to match industry needs and modern academic standards.
A dedicated placement cell coordinates with recruiters, organizes pre-placement talks, and helps students prepare for interviews and tests. The placement process is supportive and structured. With strong guidance, training, and regular company visits, the college provides a solid platform for students to begin their careers.
The college offers good value for money considering the facilities, teaching quality, and overall student support it provides. The fee structure is reasonable, and students feel that the education and campus experience justify the cost.
Computer labs have stable systems, and Wi-Fi connectivity is available in most parts of the campus, supporting research and digital learning.
Over all my college is good and beneficiary for the young students for better growth.
Infrastructure for the college is really good, we had separate buildings for each of the branches , and great laboratories for hands on experience. The university also offers grounds and sports arenas for extracurricular activities.
SRM University offers great variety of specialisations and courses for students to pursue. The faculties are highly educated and offer great academic exposure for students who wish to have an extra push over for learning.
SRM University offers great placement support. It has its own placement cell which supports every student opting for in campus placements. The placement cell offers multitude of companies looking forward to hire great talent. It has over 200+ companies coming to hire students and the placement cell holds a great connection with the companies. Every year the university offers great opportunities to the students.
SRM University being a private university has a fee structure based on merit from its admission exams. Students are provided a fee structure based on their merit. However the facilities and academic exposure provided by the university holds great value for money.
SRM University offers extremely good campus life for students coming in from all over the country as well from abroad. The campus in general is huge in area offering great infrastructure, sports facilities, cafeterias and food courts, abundant parking and has a really good vibe for social gatherings and events. Students have ample of options to seek and enjoy their campus life.
My experience in the college was overall really great, had some of the best moments here in SRM University. It was extremely growth centric along with leaning and experiencing which will be with me for the rest of my life. I pursued computer science and engineering and along with the course itself I learned a great deal of various skills and developed interests which turned out to be extremely fruitful for my future.
Hello,
If I were choosing between these colleges, I would generally prefer MIT Manipal, LNMIIT, SRM KTR, and JIIT before SOA.
That doesn't mean SOA is a bad college. In fact, it's a decent option with good infrastructure and placements, especially for CSE-related branches. But when compared to MIT, LNMIIT,

Based on recent trends, you can roughly expect a rank somewhere in the range of 8,000–15,000 , though normalization and your specific shift
