Hello, I hope you are doing well
The campus is quite good surrounded with lots of green trees and space to walk around. It does not have a good auditorium. It does not have a proper ground to play in.
Most of the people here are from Karnataka and speak kannada more than English, so if you are not familiar with kannada, communication might become an issue.
Also the Faculty is decent in CSE compared to other branches like Mechanical, not the best but good enough to guide you through.
Now regarding the placements Oxford isn't the best college in Bangalore nor it is the worst some students from CSE get a package of around 14 LPA, but this is not the average package which is around 5 LPA, you can consider this to be one of the highest.
Hope This helps.
Yes, oxford college of engineering has a uniform. The normal uniform constitutes of formal white full sleeve shirt and grey trouser with grey/white/red striped tie and charcoal grey blazer. This has to be worn everyday. Uniforms have been made compulsory to bridge the socioeconomic gap between the students and represent a unified front. Events where uniforms are not compulsory still have strict guidelines that include full pants or jeans with decent shirts or T shirts for boys and Churidar, Pants, Kurtas, Tops for girls.
Hi, the preference to colleges is totally your choice. It is recommended that you add some colleges as your priority that are one of the best colleges in your area. You can also try for PES University, NHCE Bangalore, Jain University, etc. These colleges can be added as your first preference and then you can go on with your institutes that you have chosen. Hope this helps.
Hi,
Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering is the best among the two. Though oxford offers 28 courses and Raja Rajeshwari 17, Raja Rajeshwari still beats it due to their overall performance. The fees of both the colleges is almost the same. Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering also provides better facilities and the teachers here are much better than that in Oxford. It is also better in terms of infrastructure and placements. Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering has the highest package offered 16.5 LPA and the average salary package being 4.9 LPA. On the other hand, Oxford offers an average package of 3.5 LPA and the highest being 8 LPA. Thus, you can see Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering is a better choice.
I hope this helps,
All the best
There are some parameters by which college comparison can be done. HKBK is a VTU affiliated and AICTE approved college. In term of infrastructure HKBK has libraries, discussion rooms, large playgrounds, Innovation center and state-of-the-art labs and all modern facilities. In term of Infrastructure and location it's one of the finest engineering college of Bangalore. All laboratories are with all modern facilities. So if you consider infrastructure HKBK is undoubtedly one of the best choice. The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore has ranked 251 in NIRF engineering ranking and it's also accredited by NAAC and AICTE. In term of infrastructure it's also comparable to HKBK, as it's also having all modern facilities with well equipped laboratory and modern auditorium etc. So in term of position of the college and infrastructure and facilities offered both of these are best in its own way. Now coming to the most important thing that is placement. Oxford college of Engineering college has good placement opportunities. The average package for streams like CSE, IT and ECE ranges between 3 Lacs to 12 Lacs per annum. Rather I would say this college is one of the best option for BBA and MBA. Though in term of engineering almost each and every companies of the Bangalore like infosys, wipro dell, hp tech mahindra etc and from the india visits the college during placement. It offers a wide placement opportunities absolutely. In term of that in HKBK, more than 200 companies participating in the placement process, rolling out over 277 offers. While the highest CTC of Rs 14.4 LPA was offered by Amazon during 2019 placements, Rs 12.5 LPA of highest CTC was offered by Nuchange Informatics, Juspay and Jaro Education during placements 2020. Now if you compare the placement of these two HKBK is undoubtedly better in term of this as more companies visit every year and average CTC is also better.
Though both of these institutions are obviously good choice for an engineering aspirant, it's an overall comparison in term of some parameters. Hope it would be helpful.
