NIELIT CCC is a ten-day full-time programme with 30 hours of theory and 60 hours of practical classes. Candidates can submit applications for only one paper in the session. The NIELIT CCC exam will be conducted in online mode only. In the NIELIT CCC exam, there will be 100 MCQs carrying one mark each, and there is no negative marking. The total duration of the NIELIT CCC exam is 90 minutes. To qualify for the CCC exam, the minimum cutoff is 50 per cent marks.

The NIELIT CCC Plus is a certification course designed to equip the workforce entering or working in the government sector with the vital computer skills. The total duration of the CCC plus course is 126 hours. Students can complete the course in 21 days, which is equivalent to 6 hours a day full-time, or in 42 days, which is equivalent to 3 hours a day as a part-time computer course.
