Candidates can enrol in NPETL courses for July 2026 as finalised by the authority. Aspiring candidates can choose their domain and courses as per their interest and enrol in the course. The enrolment for NPTEL courses is free of cost. However, to earn an NPTEL certificate, candidates have to pay an amount to register for the NPTEL exam and qualify the exam with minimum passing marks.

Enrolment to NPTEL courses is free. Anyone can enrol in NPTEL courses and learn from anywhere anytime. NPTEL courses have an optional proctored certification exam that the learner can take for a nominal fee at the end of the course to earn certificates from the IITs.
