I get cet marks 103 .pcm marks 67 . which engineer college I got

Devanshi Goyal 6th Jul, 2025

HELLO,

With 103 marks in CET and 67 marks in PCM , your KCET rank is likely to be in the range of 18000 to 25000.This rank may allow you get into some private engineering colleges or lesser known institutions

Here is a more detailed breakdown :-

1.A KCET score of 103 is considered decent but not high. Your rank will depend on factors like the difficulty of the exam and the performance of other candidates

2.Your 67% in PCM (assuming you mean your 2nd PUC/12th grade marks ) will also be considered in your KCET rank calculation . A higher percentage can slightly improve your overall ranking .

3.With a rank in the 18000-25000 range you may be able to get into some private colleges in Bangalore or other cities in Karnataka

Hope that Helps!

My daughter scored 483 out of 720 in NEET 2025 result and All India Rank she get 72614 and General category Rank is 25955. Will she get admission in Govt medical collage.

Abhilasha Agrawal 23rd Jul, 2025

With a NEET 2025 score of 483 and an AIR of 72,614 in the General category, it is unlikely that your daughter will secure a government MBBS seat through the All India Quota or in states with high competition as they have much higher cutoffs

You can consider private or deemed universities, BDS, or AYUSH courses as backup options.

CUET Exam accepted here?? Or based on 12th marks ?

Sakshi Sharma 14th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant ,

I hope you are absolutely fine. As per your mentioned query, kindly be more specific. I am not able to understand for which college you are asking about the accepted score. Some private colleges take direct admission on the basis of class 12th marks and some take admission on the basis of CUET marks , JEE MAINS marks.

I hope this helps you!

At 107 marks admission is not possible in MBBS or BDS in government or private colleges. Admission in AYUSH courses like BAMS, BHMS is also highly unlikely.

You can consider folkowing courses which do not require NEET

  • BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)
  • B.Pharm
  • B.Sc in paramedical fields like MLT, Radiology, OT technology

How often is the syllabus updated to match industry standards

Swati 16th Jun, 2025

Hi Aspirant

The frequency of syllabus updates to align with industry standards depends on the educational board or university and the course structure involved Generally most academic institutions aim to revise and update their syllabus every three to five years However in some competitive and technical fields the revision may happen more frequently to ensure students are learning relevant and modern concepts

For central educational boards like CBSE the syllabus is reviewed every academic cycle and significant updates are proposed at least once in three years in consultation with academic experts and industry professionals In certain cases updates may be implemented earlier if a new technology trend or skill requirement becomes highly important

For universities that offer undergraduate or postgraduate professional programs such as engineering management biotechnology computer science or data analytics the syllabus update cycle is faster Since these fields evolve quickly due to emerging tools software platforms and industry needs universities conduct curriculum review meetings almost every one or two years Often an Industry Advisory Board is involved in this process which ensures the syllabus reflects real world applications

Autonomous colleges and private universities usually have more flexibility in updating their syllabus more frequently Sometimes even every academic year they make slight tweaks or add new electives to address new areas of interest This responsiveness to market demands helps in increasing employability of students

Accreditation bodies such as NAAC NBA and AICTE also play a role in enforcing curriculum reforms They encourage institutions to align academic learning with current industrial practices through outcome based education This includes introducing hands on skills industry internships and interdisciplinary subjects

For example in Computer Science new topics like Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing are added more frequently now than a decade ago In Management studies subjects like Data Analytics Digital Marketing and Financial Technology are integrated based on market trends

In technical universities including IITs NITs and IIITs faculty members often propose syllabus changes after every semester evaluation based on industry feedback This ensures that graduates are job ready and can contribute from the first day of their employment

However in traditional subjects like history literature or pure sciences syllabus changes are comparatively slower These domains focus more on foundational knowledge rather than skills that change rapidly with time

In state universities or government institutions the syllabus may take a longer time to update due to regulatory procedures approvals and committee decisions Still they are encouraged to align their curriculum periodically with the requirements of national education policies and local employment needs

Most academic institutions update their syllabus every three to five years to match industry standards but in professional and technical fields updates may occur every one to two years through curriculum reviews involving industry experts The goal is to ensure students develop relevant and employable skills for the evolving job market

48 marks or not sufficient, you didn’t meet the 35% qualifying criteria, hence retake the exam to cross the cut-off and improve rank for seat allotment.
