It's not like you have given two regular board examination in the same year if that was the case then this would have been illegal but this isn't the case with you as you have passed 12th from state board in 2020

You can apply for improvement exam only if you have passed that subject. However, a student who has failed a subject cannot take an improvement test for that subject, instead, he/she should take compartment exam
