can i start C.A coaching in class 11 itself??

Akshaya Pai 28th Nov, 2019

Hello

Since you are a 11th student and will be writing your 12th exams soon, I recommend you to concentrate on that . In case if you are very dedicated , studious and organized with things then you can take up coaching for CA foundation. As far as CA foundation is concerned you need not worry more about it. You will be having 8 subjects put into 4 papers out of which you will be studying some of them in your PU. But make sure you don't take CA foundation lightly as the consepts will not be as easy as it was in PU , after all it is a competitive exam so you can expect difficulty in the topic. Consistent hardwork and the right coaching classes will help you crack the exam .

All the best!

Is any cut off for special categories students for CA foundation

Akshaya Pai 28th Nov, 2019

Hey

CA is one of the professional course which does not offer separate cut off for special categories students. After all the CA's play a important role in the economy of a country ,also called the financial reports of the state and hence they can't afford to do that. CA is regarded the most prestigious course in commerce stream which requires less investment compared to MBBS and engineering and high amount of hard work and dedication. It doesn't have the consept of limited seats & you can write the exam n number of times if you can't make it in the first go. A CA is a CA irrespective of the number of attempts he has given.

I hope this is useful.

All the coaching classes are equally good but I would suggest you to go for Gurukripa or CAPS.

CA or MBA? Which is best option after Mechanical Engineering??

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 31st Aug, 2019
Hello,

I would say you should go for MBA, as it will be a simple 2 years course where you will learn everything in college under professors but if you will choose to go for CA then get ready for devoting atleast 15 hours in a day as everything will be new to you so you will have to give more and more time.CA exams are very tough and success rate in those exams is also less.
Be prepared to give time for at least 4 years.this is reality.Think wisely before choosing a career.

I hope this helps.

Is is worthy to do CA after Mechanical Engineering??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 1st Sep, 2019
Dear Vinod, CA and Engineering are 2 different fields. They are like Apples and Oranges. But with your Bachelor's degree you can gain a direct entry to CA Intermediate skipping the Foundation Course. What you have studied and what you will study will be 2 different poles. To do CA after Mechanical Engineering is no small thing. Lot of dedication, hard work and will power has to go into this because there are lakhs of CA aspirants who appear for their exams every year and half of them fail in their pursuit. But if you ask if its worthy to study, yes it is. There is a dearth of CAs in India and hence higher demand. If you can crack the exams and become a CA, nothing better than that. What you need to analyse is the field that you want to practise once you complete your course. CAs work im various fields like Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Financial Sector, Taxation, Auditing, etc. So you need to think of the path you want to take once you complete this course.

Can the attestation signed by CA? Is it need to be in green signature?

Aquil Uzzama 21st Aug, 2019

Hi there Rajesh Durai! Hope you're having a great day.

Most attestations which are being asked in various exam forms to be filled is of an A grade gazetted officer of any state or central government who has been given the power to attest. And yes, the signature is often done with a green pen because that has been recognised as the official colour.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
