My son is studying in standard 5th, want to take admission for standard 6 th. What is the total cost at the time of admission, and yearly cost

Prachi Kumari 20th Sep, 2025

Hello,

The total cost for admission to Class 6 depends on the type of school and city. Here are general figures in India:

  • Admission charges (one-time): Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 (includes admission fee, registration, and deposit).

  • Tuition and annual fees: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 2,50,000 per year for private schools.

  • Other costs: Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 20,000 at admission for books and uniforms. Transport and activities can add Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 30,000 yearly.

Example figures:

  • Sainik Schools charge about Rs. 1,77,594 per year for Class 6.

  • Many private day schools charge between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 1,50,000 yearly.

Government schools are much cheaper, often under Rs. 5,000 per year.

Hope it helps !

Ctet exam passing tips for paper 1

Kashish Gautam 21st Sep, 2025

To clear CTET Paper 1, focus on the following strategies:

  1. Understand the Syllabus: Cover Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I & II, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and other topics thoroughly.

  2. Practice Previous Papers: Solve past 5–10 years’ question papers to get familiar with question patterns and time management.

  3. Focus on Pedagogy & Child Psychology: These sections are scoring if concepts are clear.

  4. Time Management: Allocate time wisely—don’t spend too long on difficult questions.

  5. Use Short Notes & Formulas: Keep formulas, grammar rules, and important concepts handy for quick revision.

  6. Mock Tests: Regularly take mock tests to assess preparation and improve speed and accuracy.

  7. Revision: Revise at least 2–3 times before the exam to retain key concepts.

Tip: Focus on conceptual understanding rather than rote learning, as CTET emphasizes application-based questions.

can I change my clg for my tybsc year in chemistry or compulsory Ive to do it in the clg Im currently studying in?

SEJAL JAIN 18th Sep, 2025

Hello

You can change your college for your TYBSc Chemistry year, but it depends on your university's rules.
Usually, you need to apply for a migration certificate from your current college.
The new college must be affiliated with the same university or recognized by it.
Permission from both colleges and the university is required.
Changing colleges may affect your exam registration and fee payment.
Check with your current college and university for exact procedures and deadlines.

can I change my clg for my tybsc year in chemistry or compulsory Ive to do it in the clg Im currently studying in?

Ankur Mehta 18th Sep, 2025

Yes Kriya, you can change your college in TYBSc Chemistry but it depends on the rules of your university. Most universities allow migration/transfer, but you will need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current college and approval from the new one. The syllabus of both colleges should also match, otherwise you may face difficulties. Also, it depends on seat availability in the new college. So, it’s better you confirm the procedure with your university and the college where you want to take admission.
