Evaluation Process

To assess student performance, Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research conducts examinations through internal and external assessments. The examinations will be conducted separately for theory and practicals to evaluate the knowledge acquired during the study. For theory courses, the internal evaluation shall be conducted as Continuous Internal Assessment via. Student assignments preparation and seminar. For practical courses, the internal evaluation will be done through continuous assessment of skill in demonstrating the experiments and record or report preparation. The internal assessment comprises a maximum of 25 marks for each course. The semester-end exams comprising 75 marks will be conducted at the end of each semester.

To be considered qualified, students are required to score at least 40% marks in aggregate (External + Internal).
