CUHP Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The university provides an on-campus medical clinic. Doctors and nurses regularly visit the campus to administer primary and emergency treatment.

The library is very spacious and has a separate reading room. CUHP library facilities are available for students, faculty members, research scholars and staff members. Central University of Himachal Pradesh library facilities include books, theses, reports, atlases, journals, CDs, DVDs, e-books, e-journals, etc. The library is a member of INFLIBNET and DELNET and has subscriptions for providing online resources. The library is fully air-conditioned and is enabled with wi-fi. The library uses SOUL Library Management Software for carrying out its daily administrative work. Photocopy facility is also available in the library.

Both indoor and outdoor games are provided by the university sports department. Students are encouraged to participate in various sports for physical and mental well-being.

The networking of the campus is controlled and managed by the Central University of Himachal Pradesh IT infrastructure. All departments and offices are equipped with computers, connected with Local Area Network (LAN).

The university has a branch of Canara Bank on its campus. 24X7 ATM facility is also available.  

The cafeteria is well-ventilated. Central University of Himachal Pradesh cafeteria serves a variety of beverages, snacks and cuisine to the students and staff members at reasonable prices.

The university auditorium is very spacious and can accommodate a large number of people. Central University of Himachal Pradesh auditorium facilities include audio-video systems for conducting events and seminars.

CUHP gym facility is available for both boys and girls students. The gym is equipped with modern instruments for workout.

The university provides hostels for the accommodation of outstation students. The hostels are well-furnished and well-ventilated. Recreational facilities like indoor games are also available.

CUHP girls hostel facilities include furniture and modern appliances. The hostels are enabled with wi-fi. Students can also enjoy indoor games like table tennis, carrom, etc in the hostels.

Central University of Himachal Pradesh transport facilities include a fleet of buses. The buses ply between the major routes of the city and the university.

Campus building have ramps and lifts for physical challenged students.
