Master of Philosophy in Chemical Sciences is two years full-time course and it is offered by Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai. These programs consist of one year of course work and one year of project work. The course work is offered at all campuses of BARC Training School and project work is offered at BARC, IGCAR, RRCAT VECC and some other units of DAE.
Selection of candidates for admission to M.Phil. programme at a CI shall be (i) through a selection process formulated by the CI, (ii) by way of upgradation of students who have qualified for the PGDip of HBNI anytime within preceding six months with a performance above a threshold specified by the concerned Board of Studies.
Minimum qualification for admission to the M.Phil. shall be Masters degree in Science (M.Sc.) of a University recognized by the University Grants Commission.
