No, there will be no such entrance exams for MA Political Science, entrance exams are conducted only for MBA, BEd, BSc Nursing these are all professional degrees, in case of Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, diploma or certificate courses no such entrance tests are conducted regarding this, you just need to pass in the relevant discipline from a recognized university, admission is open in IGNOU till 15th October, you can visit the admission portal at https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ and sign up by providing your name, contact details etc, further you need to fill in personal and academic details, and other such relevant information, upload scanned documents, pay the requisite fees, you'll get the confirmation further through your registered contact details, it may take time depending on the concerned regional centre.

Assignments are mandatory when you are pursuing a course in IGNOU, as 30% weightage is given to it, and rest if 70% weigtage is given to TEE results, classes are held on weekends usually in IGNOU, may be due to pandemic all these activities are stalled, for more detailed information regarding classes and timing, you have to contact your study centre coordinator as he/she will be able to guide you successfully, and the assignments that you will make is to be submitted in the study centre only, see IGNOU is a distance learning university,hence it's more of a self-study than anything else,having said that it's the intentions to that matters, at the end of the day a degree is requirement but what's the use if you don't even know the core aspects covering your course of study, it's not in anyway going to help you in professional advancement whatsoever. To provide you an example various candidates take admission here, some are also working professionals to further expand their knowledge base and qualifications, so if we talk about an educator enrolled here and he/she isn't seriously dedicated or focus then that's going to further impact his/her professional endeavour, and the same thing apply for all candidates, yes we may argue that till today IGNOUs degree are comparatively more acceptable in government jobs, even though there are many candidates who work in private companies passing out from IGNOU but then comparatively it's less, even in a government job especially for those which have interviews you'll be asked regarding your graduation subjects, so there is no reason whatsoever to have negligent attitude concerning your studies for anyone.

But in order to archive, you need to study hard practice regularly take mock test and evaluate yourself. You can also focus on core subjects like operating system, database, data structure and algorithm.

I would suggest you to choose B.Com Finance and Accounting because to pursue CA, finance specialisation suits you well.  Accounting also suitable for you because all most all of the topics will be covered in ipcc also, so it will be helpful to you for studying and the curriculum of final year too match with CA. So I suggest you to choose Accounting and Finance. However you can also go for other specialization because it will enhance your knowledge along with CA.
