Hello,

If the eligibility criteria of a certain program is based on graduation, then you cannot apply for that particular program being in the final year, the reason being while you'll be filling the application form for admission, you'll be required to upload the relevant documents showing the proof of passing the qualifying examination, and without getting the documents you cannot fill the form, but IGNOU does offer plenty of time for students to take admission, and the admission takes place twice a year, in January and July Session, so even if you miss out on one, you can still try for another.

After completing your diploma in NUTRITION AND DIETETICS from IGNOU, you can work in major areas like

  • Government sectors
  • Health Departments
  • Mass Media
  • Food Sectors
  • NGOs
  • Government and Private hospitals

You can apply for different JOB PROFILES after completing this course. It is as follows-

  • Nutrition specialist- the average annual salary is 2,90,000
  • Dietician - the avg salary is 3,00,000
  • Process development officer - 10,00,000
  • Food scientist - 5,40,000
  • Professor - 9,00,000

If you want to study further than you can go for post-diploma degree in Nutrition and Dietetics education or an equivalent degree to improve their knowledge and skills in this field. They can develop from jobs in nutrition and new product development to roles in the logistics, supply chain, purchasing, and distribution.

It is completely your choice to chose which you like the most and in which your interest lies. ALL THE BEST...

HOPE IT HELPS !!

Hello,

Usually the last date of submission of assignments for January Session is 30th September, but even if we see last year the date has been further extended, and this year things are quite different because of covid pandemic, and submissions for July 2019 session happened in online mode only, so there are fair chances that IGNOU will provide enough time to students to submit their assignments for January session of this year, but if you were to submit your assignments, then the sooner you complete it the better it is, at least you won't be facing shortage of time, you can get your assigmentsfrom the official website of IGNOU only at ignou.ac.in

College Infrastructure

Even though it is a distance learning university, IGNOU has well-furnished regional and study centers. Library facilities are specially great – they have a huge collection of academic books, reference books, and journals. There is Wi-Fi in a few of the centers, and a hygienic cafeteria for students who are on campus for extended periods.

Not so great to be a part of

College Infrastructure

My study center is muralidhar college which is pretty decent college. the college staff was very rude ever since i been there for the first time they were very rude even changed some rules related to studies which they were not meant to.

Good experience, worth it overall.
