Yes it has its own entrance examination. Also depends on which course you want. It does not has any management quota seats so all the seats are given on merit either on 12th percentage boards or through the JNUEE examination.

Hello,
The eligibility criteria to study MA history in JNU is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline in 10+2+3 pattern with 50% aggregate from a recognized board. Candidates can choose specialization in Ancient History or Medieval History or Modern and Contemporary History. So if you have 50% aggregate in B.Com (//B.Com) you can apply for it.
According to the official website e prospectus page no# 52 https://jnu.ac.in/admission/e-prospectus-2020-21.pdf , it says that for being eligible to study M.Sc Physics, you should have completed your Graduation with Physics as one of the subjects with a combination on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. And then you need an aggregate of 55%. But if you do not have Mathematics as a subject, unfortunately you are not eligible for studying M.Sc Physics at JNU.
Previously JNU Placement cell wasn't so active or i say that it was pretty inactive. But from few years it has been active and you can see the companies coming to the campus.
Still you can't find any data in their official website.
More than 70% students studying in JNU opt for Master's and then P.hd. Some students go for UPSC CSE preparation while some choose Banking jobs. But still you can see few MNC's coming for the placement.
All the best!!
Hello aspirant
There is no specific book for JNU entrance exam , you can refer previous year's papaers to know the level of questions. You should have basic knowledge of the subjects like history, Economics, international relations , philosophy, Indian politics.
You can refer the books given below
India after Gandhi - Ramchandra Guha
Indian Government and politics - A S Narang
International Relations in 21 century - pushpesh pant
Global politics by Andrew Heywood
Archana, JNU has changed the exam pattern in 2019. Though the exam pattern has been changed, the syllabus remains pretty much the same. So please visit our page and download free previous papers for your practise: https://university.careers360.com/articles/jnu-sample-paper
The labs are well maintained and have good wifi connections. The classrooms are also in good condition and have projectors. The hostel rooms are decent and have average wifi connections. The mess food is good, and there are sports clubs for those who want to participate in physical activities.
The college offers basic facilities, just enough for a simple college life. There is no Wi-Fi connection in the college or hostels. The mess food is decent but not exceptional. The college has good medical facilities, with a hospital located nearby. The sports facilities are in decent condition.
The facilities offered in our college, like Wi-Fi and classrooms, are not up to par. Wi-Fi is not provided with unlimited data per student. Classrooms are small and not well-managed; it feels like we are sitting in a government school. Labs are also not properly managed. The library is good in comparison to everything else.
