K.R. Mangalam University, Gurgaon was established under the Haryana Private Universities Act in the year 2013. The university is also known as KRMU. The university spreads over 26 acres of land. KRMU is recognised by the University Grants Commission under section 2f of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is approved by the Haryana Government, Council of Architecture (COA), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bar Council of India (BCI) and it is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Association of Common Wealth Universities (ACU). Clubs, Committees and Societies

Rhetorica - This is the Literary Society that nurtures the literary talent and organizes various essay writing, debates, quiz, story writing, and extempore for the students.
Photography Club (KRMU KLICKS) - This Club has budding photographers and they capture captivating moments and covers all the events conducted at the university.
Cultural Society - This Society conducts various drama, dance, singing, dance competition for the students and is responsible for organising the Annual Fest at the varsity.
Management Society - KRMU gives an in-depth knowledge about the various HR/Management policies entrepreneurship and basics of management.

KRMU Placement

K.R. Mangalam University has a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell that helps in conducting campus placement so that the students are provided with a plethora of job opportunities. Students are well trained so that their skills get enhanced and they become competent personalities who are suitable for the corporate world. The Training and Placement Cell invites the companies for conducting KRMU placement drive via and interested companies in return get back to the varsity for further process. After this, dates are fixed with various recruiters for conducting the placement drive and the slots are allocated to different recruiters upon mutual agreement. The entire placement schedule is shared with the students so that they can mark the important dates and prepare themselves accordingly. Thereafter, candidates interested in participating in the recruitment drive registers with the placement cell of the university and submit all required documents along with their resumes. The companies deliver a pre-placement talk on the fixed date for the students in order to make them aware of the basic policies, work environment and give an insight into the company and also take up their queries in the end. After the pre-placement talk, resumes of the registered candidates are shortlisted and tests are taken such as aptitude test, technical test, etc to test the knowledge and I.Q and students qualifying the test makes a move to the next stage of the recruitment drive. After qualifying the written round, recruiters give a topic to the selected students in a group for the Group Discussion in order to judge the communication and speaking skills of students and their performance and presentation of thoughts in a group. Further, the candidates have to qualify the interview taken by the companies so that the recruiters can judge the overall personality of the candidates and ensure that candidate is suitable for the job. After the candidates have qualified the personal interview, they are hence selected finally and only the selected candidates are offered jobs by the recruiting company.
