The selection shall be strict as per the merit of the entrance test examination. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English Subjects as a regular candidate from a recognized institution situated in the State of Punjab only except for the exemptions wherever applicable, and have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/BC) taken together in PCB. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible. The Test will be open to a candidate who–

• has completed, or shall be completed, the age of 17 years by 31st December of the year of admission.
• has passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually and has obtained a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English at Senior Secondary Part-II examination (class 12 of 10+2 stream), or an equivalent examination from the recognized statutory Board/University. (The candidate should have passed this examination in the annual examination held in March/April or earlier. Those who are placed in a compartment in the annual examination or who are already in the compartment and fail to clear the same in the supplementary examination shall not be eligible).
