IPU CET 2023 -  Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has extended the last date to register for IPU CET 2023 counselling till July 6. The university announced the IPU CET 2023 result on June 21, 2023 for MEd, BA Liberal Arts, BA Economics and some other courses. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has started the IPU CET 2023 counselling on June 27. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has released the IPU CET 2023 question paper and IPU CET 2023 answer key for the IPU CET 2023 exam held on May 31, on June 1. Candidates appeared for the IPU CET exam 2023 on May 31 can download the IPU CET question paper 2023 and IPU CET answer key 2023 on the official website. To fill the IP University 2023 application form, candidates need to visit the official website of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University at ipu.ac.in.

IPU CET 2023 was conducted in a computer-based test. On the IPU CET 2023 examination day, candidates had to carry their IPU CET 2023 admit card along with ID proof to the exam centre. The IPU CET 2023 cut off will be declared on the official website - ipu.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the test can check it from there. What is IPU CET?

IPU CET 2023 entrance examination is conducted to enroll students into different UG and PG courses like BBA, BCA, BJMC, B.A, M.A, B.Sc, M.Sc, BHMCT and M.Tech and B.Tech (Biotech) offered at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The admission to certain programmes is conducted on the basis of the merit/score of the National Level Test Conducted by agencies other than the Universities. • Candidates should have completed his higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized university or board. The minimum marks to be obtained by the candidates must be 50%
• The age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years on August 1, 2021
• Candidates can be a citizen of India or outside of India. International candidates have to submit relevant documents related to their nationality
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ Persons with disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks

IPU CET B.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for the exam can check the eligibility criteria of IPU CET 2022 for the BCA programme to make sure that they are eligible to appear.

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 or the equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
• Candidate must have passed in English.
• Candidate must have studied and passed Mathematics or (Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject.
• Candidate who has completed three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply.

IPU CET BJ (MC) Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for IPU CET BJMC candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:

• Candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 50 %.
• The candidate should have studied and passed English as well in 10+2.
• Candidates appearing in 10+2 in 2023 are also eligible to apply.
• Candidate's age should not exceed 21 years.

IPU CET B.H.M.C.T. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of IPU CET BHMCT 2023 can be checked below. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to appear for IPU CET 2023 for BHMCT admission.

• Candidate must have qualified class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate* of 50% marks.
• Candidates must have passed in English as well.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ Persons With Disability will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks.

* Aggregate of 50% will be calculated as the percentage in the best of four subjects. The best four subjects will be mentioned before counseling if necessary.

IPU CET M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

candidates must check the prescribed eligibility criteria of IPU CET M.Tech before applying for the exam. The IPU CET M.Tech 2022 eligibility criteria is given below:

• Candidates must have passed B.Tech./B.E or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks
• Candidate's age should not be more than 35 years.
• Candidates who have passed IETE/AMIE (ECE/CSE/IT/EE) will also be eligible to apply.

IPU CET B.A. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for B.A programme from IP University must fulfill the following eligibility criteria-

• Completed senior secondary examination with an aggregeate of minimum 50% marks.
• For admissions in B.A English Hons., candidates must have studied English as a compulsory subject.
• For BA Economics, candidates must have studied Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.

IPU CET B.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

As per the eligibility criteria of IP University, candidates who are appearing for B.Sc programmes must take a note of the following academic requirements -

• Candidates must have completed their senior secondary examination with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

• For admissions in B.Sc Medical Technology and Radio Technology, candidates must have cleared their senior secondary examination with at least an aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or must have obtained a diploma in radiotherapy technology after the aforementioned twelfth grade examinations with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The candidates must also have at least five years of experience in Radiotherapy.

IPU CET M.A. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates filling the application form for admissions in M.A programmes of IP University must check the given below eligibility criteria of the university.

• A Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

• Candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree in Economics for admissions in M.A Economics.

IPU CET M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to M.Sc programmes offered by the IP University must check the following eligibility criteria to to appear in the entrance examination.

• A B.Sc degree with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university.

• For admissions in M.Sc Environment Management, candidates must posses a pass in B.Sc. degree or an equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% or a B.E., B.Tech., B.Sc. (Engg.) in Chemical/Agricultural Engg/Civil with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

• For admissions in M.Sc Forensic Science, candidates must have a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Applied Physics/Physics/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Toxicology/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Biology(Zoology or Genetics or Botany or Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Physical Anthropology) with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university.

  • Or B.Sc of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University. In addition to it, candidates should have also studied at least from first year of the three year course any two subjects of the following - a) Physics b) Math or Statistics c) Chemistry d) Biology (Zoology or Genetics or Botany or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Physical Anthropology)

  • Or a B.Sc. in Forensic Science from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

  • Or B.Tech. (Civil/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering/Computer Science) from a recognized university with at least an aggregate of 50%.

• For admissions in M.Sc Nursing, candidates should be a registered nurse and midwife or equivalent with a State Nursing Registration Council.

  • The applicants must have passed B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum aggregate of 55% from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

  • Candidates should have a work experience of at least a year after finishing their basic B.Sc. Nursing. Prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, candidates should gather a work experience of at least a year.

The application form for IPU CET 2023 submission window was closed on May 15. The process of filling and submitting the IPU CET 2023 application form is completely online. Candidates will have to fill the IPU CET application form 2023 with their personal, academic and contact details. All the details mentioned in the application form of IPU CET 2023 must be correct.

The IP University admit card 2023 has been issued in online mode at ipu.ac.in. Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form could download the IPU CET 2023 admit card using their login credentials. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has started the IPU 2023 counselling on June 27. IPU will announce the IP University 2023 counselling round 1 seat allotment result through online mode. Candidates who are shortlisted have to appear for the IPU CET counselling 2023. The IP University 2023 counselling process includes five important steps- submitting the application fee, registration, choice filling, seat allotment and freezing the allotted seat. The university also conducts the IPU CET counselling 2023 in multiple rounds; each subsequent round is held for shortlisted candidates who failed to get admissions in the previous round to secure the vacant seats. On the day of IPU CET counselling 2023, shortlisted candidates need to carry all the required documents. 

The university will conduct an offline spot counselling round at the end to fill the remaining vacant seats if any. To participate in the online IP University counselling 2023, candidates have to pay a participation fee of Rs. 1000/- and submit an online preference form.
