The College Library serves as a dynamic facility for technical learning. The library, besides having more than 11000 books on engineering, science, language, and humanities, offers library services through its various divisions, including Gujarati novels, encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc. The library subscribes to international and national journals, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals. The Library has Internet facilities consisting of several networked terminals for providing recent and most comprehensive access to e-journals and other e-reference resources to the faculty and students. The library has automated all its routine activities through library software called 'SOUL 2.0' and also extended the scope of various services like database search, OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), Web-based OPAC, scanning, NPTEL (National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning)Video Lecture facilities available, and all the books of the library having bar-codes.

The College provides ample opportunities for the students to take part in all indoor and outdoor sports activities. The sports complex is located adjacent to the college and has facilities for playing and practicing Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Kho-Kho, and Cricket. Intercollege tournaments, inter-class matches, and annual athletic meets are regular features in the sports section. Many of the students represent the college at the GTU and AIU (ALL INDIA UNIVERSITY) level.

The college has a Central Computer Centre, a central computing facility that fulfills the computing requirements of the institute. The computer center is equipped with more than 70 PCs. All the terminals in this center have the Linux operating system. The feedback portal of the college is implemented in this lab. Central Computer Centre provides services to conduct all the online tests of the campus recruitment of UG and PG Students of all branches. Aptitude tests for Training and Placement of UG and PG students are also taken in the Central Computer Centre. All students in the Institute are entitled to have a login in the Centre according to their enrollment number. Students are permitted to enter the Central Computer Centre only with their Identity Card.

The College Canteen is a hub for students at ACET, where they enjoy delicious and hygienic snacks, cold and hot drinks. In the Canteen, students enjoy a variety of food, including Gujarati, Punjabi, and Chinese. On the College Campus, the college has two canteens for Students. Students avail of this facility from early morning to late in the evening. The trust manages the standard of the canteen. To run this procedure smoothly, ACET has also formed a Food and Hygiene Committee. Members of this committee look after the quality, availability, and price of food served in the canteen.

The college has an enormous and fully air-conditioned auditorium with an elegant space of 240 seats, a nice projector with a widescreen on the stage, wireless microphones, and a laptop with the latest features guest room, as well as a restroom. The ACET auditorium has a state-of-the-art multimedia system. It is frequently used for presentations, seminars, fests, and events of the college. The College Auditorium has a fixed stage, and it has wonderful acoustics and a warm and welcoming ambiance. It is a perfect venue for musicals, theatre, performances, as well as lectures, conferences, and seminars.

The College transportation facility at ALPHA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING and TECHNOLOGY is extensive because its route covers the mainline areas of Ahmedabad city. The fleet includes 10-12 buses for students as well as staff members from various pick-up points in the city. The AMTS bus service is also available just one km away from our institute.

The College Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2009. The current enrollment is about 744 students. The department is facilitated by 30 full-time faculty members consisting of 23 Assistant Professors, 7 Lecturers, and 6 Technical Supporting Staff, which reflects the vertical strength of the department. For developing and boosting the software and programming skills of the students, the department has incorporated sophisticated CAD and CAM laboratories and has 13 laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and computing facilities.
