Alpha College of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as ACET, was established in the year 2009 and located in Kalol, Gujarat. The affiliated college has a sprawling campus of 10 acres near Khatraj Circle. ACET offers courses in 6 undergraduate engineering programs, 1 postgraduate course, and 4 diploma programs. The total enrolment of students in the institute is 117, and it has 96 faculty members. ACET happens to be one of the premier technical institutes; its commitment to technical education was proved when it got affiliation from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The institution has ultra-modern facilities to support the learning experience for its students. There is a state-of-the-art library, one of the hubs of academic resources within the college. It stockpiles over 11,000 books on such subjects as Engineering, Science, Language, and Humanities. This library also provides access to international and national journals, magazines, and e-resources through its automated system, SOUL 2.0. These NPTEL video lecture facilities are also available in the library for the students. The students who are interested in sports and physical activities may make use of the sports complex on the campus to the side of the college, which is well equipped. Facilities are made available for sports.

ACET offers almost all major disciplines of engineering, with a total of 11 different courses. 

The admission process at ACET is designed to be complete and fair. The undergraduate engineering courses for this college are based on the test scores of the Gujarat Common Entrance Test at the state level. This state-level examination is an integral part of the admission criteria that would help deserving candidates hold their places in the desired courses.
