Chandragupt Institute of Management, Patna (CIMP) is a prestigious autonomous institution that is in the league of premier management institutions in eastern India and provides quality management education. The admission process at CIMP intends to select the right candidate from the top talent list for its various programs. The courses offered by the institute include the following: Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Venture Development, Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), and Executive FPM.
An admissions cycle at CIMP usually starts around May-June to be ready for the next academic year in August-September. This institute procures its applications through various national-level entrance examinations depending on the program. For PGDM programs, CIMP takes into account scores from CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, and GMAT. For doctoral programs like FPM, the institute also considers GRE and NET scores.

Admission includes:
The shortlisting of candidates based on entrance exam scores, academic records, and work experience.
Group Discussions and Personal Interviews for shortlisted candidates.
Finally, the merit list will be based on weighted scores of academics, test scores, work experience, and GD & PI.

Marketing and Finance. If you go for marketing, the professors are really good. They have in depth knowledge about the subject, but in case of Finance, it lags comparatively. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and it does make the students industry ready but until and unless you make an effort to improve yourself.
The faculty is very friendly and well-experienced, teaching in a practical manner. They provide significant support during campus placements by offering extra classes. The course well-designed for every department, several workshops are conducted to empower students.
