Academics
Academics at DAV School of Business Management are one of its strongest pillars. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to student success. Most of the professors focus not only on theoretical knowledge but also encourage critical thinking and practical exposure. The curriculum is updated regularly, aligning with recent trends in business and management. Regular seminars, workshops, and industry visits keep students job-ready and help bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements.
College Infra
The college infrastructure is well-maintained and provides a decent academic environment. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards and projectors. The library is resourceful and offers a peaceful place for reading and research. Wi-Fi access is decent across the campus, and computer labs are regularly updated. The campus also has clean washrooms and a hygienic canteen. However, the hostel facilities are limited, and the college does not have its own sports ground, which sometimes affects co-curricular involvement.
Campus Life
Campus life is lively and engaging. Events like annual fests, cultural programs, and student club activities add a lot of vibrancy. Students from various backgrounds make the environment dynamic and diverse. Teachers are friendly and accessible. However, the campus is relatively small, and the absence of a proper playground or relaxation zone limits recreational options. Still, safety, hygiene, and the quality of support staff are commendable.
Placements
Placement at DAV School of Business Management could be improved. The number of students actually placed was limited. Most offers were for sales and marketing roles, and high-paying packages were rare. The average package was around 2.5 LPA, which doesn’t match student expectations. Although the placement cell tries to support students, the process often lacks transparency and timely communication. More companies, better roles, and stronger training programs are needed to make the placements truly effective.
Value For Money
The annual course fee is affordable compared to many other private B-schools. The return on investment is quite reasonable considering the quality of education and exposure we receive. Faculty and academic delivery justify the fees, but management sometimes falls short in organizing timely events or resolving student issues. Nevertheless, it still feels like money well spent for the education and experience provided.
