The college has the required infrastructure, facilities and equipment, it's decent it's just i would've been better to have an auditorium but we do have a seminar hall so it's fine. The required facilities are fulfilled.
The college follows NEP-2020 syllabus and teachers are friendly and supportive. Teachers are good and communicative. All the necessary books are provided in the library and we can issue as per our schedule.
Placements are decent, our college has a placement record with companies like D E Shaw, Godrej, Induslnd Bank, Integreon, Dabur etc recruiting from our college with the highest package offered being 21.5LPA.
Dav School of Business Management is generally considered a good value of money, particularly for those seeking a professional management course, considering the relatively affordable fees for the courses offered.
Campus life is also decent, we have alot of small events, seminars and activities that makes us engaged with the college. It would've been better if we have more activities and a proper auditorium. Decent.
The college infrastructure is well-maintained and provides a decent academic environment. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards and projectors. The library is resourceful and offers a peaceful place for reading and research. Wi-Fi access is decent across the campus, and computer labs are regularly updated. The campus also has clean washrooms and a hygienic canteen. However, the hostel facilities are limited, and the college does not have its own sports ground, which sometimes affects co-curricular involvement.
Academics at DAV School of Business Management are one of its strongest pillars. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to student success. Most of the professors focus not only on theoretical knowledge but also encourage critical thinking and practical exposure. The curriculum is updated regularly, aligning with recent trends in business and management. Regular seminars, workshops, and industry visits keep students job-ready and help bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements.
Placement at DAV School of Business Management could be improved. The number of students actually placed was limited. Most offers were for sales and marketing roles, and high-paying packages were rare. The average package was around 2.5 LPA, which doesn’t match student expectations. Although the placement cell tries to support students, the process often lacks transparency and timely communication. More companies, better roles, and stronger training programs are needed to make the placements truly effective.
The annual course fee is affordable compared to many other private B-schools. The return on investment is quite reasonable considering the quality of education and exposure we receive. Faculty and academic delivery justify the fees, but management sometimes falls short in organizing timely events or resolving student issues. Nevertheless, it still feels like money well spent for the education and experience provided.
Campus life is lively and engaging. Events like annual fests, cultural programs, and student club activities add a lot of vibrancy. Students from various backgrounds make the environment dynamic and diverse. Teachers are friendly and accessible. However, the campus is relatively small, and the absence of a proper playground or relaxation zone limits recreational options. Still, safety, hygiene, and the quality of support staff are commendable.
DAV School of Business Management shaped not just our academic growth but also our confidence and personality. The faculty truly makes the difference here—they genuinely care about the students. One of the areas where the college can improve is its administrative management. At times, communication gaps and delayed decisions on student activities or grievances affect overall experience. Despite that, the college is a great place to study and grow.
There are labs a big library. Good quality facilities are given to the hosteler. Hostel that have offer three time food at a reasonable price. Number of sports facilities are provided. The canteen provide hygiene food.
They like to teach us and clear our doubts any time during the day during class hours as well as off time. The teachers are helpful too, qualified and knowledgeable. the course curriculum is relevant.
They also offer summer internship programme at our college. The placement are of 40-50% chance and they offer both in campus and off campus placement. Pre placement offer are offered.very few companies come for placement.
Our DSBM has all the necessary infrastructure, this includes big classrooms, spacious benches, projectors, ACs, blackboard, library, clean washrooms and they also provide hostel facilities. The college maintains cleanliness and hygiene.
I am currently studying B.Com(Hons). My main reason to pursue commerce was my love for accounting. The teachers are spectacular and help to explain concepts easily and throughly. Our curriculum had some changes recently which makes it full of opportunities that can be taken advantage of, to have leverage over our specific interest.
The placements at our college are all worthy of praise. The highest salary package was that if ₹21.5 lakhs to a B.Com student that excelled in both academics and soft skills. Placements here are given at firms like DE Shaw.
college has updated technology for better studying environment for students . They are well maintained and regular maintenance is kept in check. Smart board for easy studying, to play videos , to show how to work with an app and a IT room for students who want excel in IT.
Currently studying B.Com(Hons) to get a graduate degree for a job and also studying for CA (only foundation courses available). All teaching personnel are available for students when we approach them with doubts. Concept are cleared then and there. College follows Nep 2020, so curriculum is updated . We have workshop in which we are addressed by our alumini about their work their experiences and challenges faced by then.
Placement quality is good with nice pay , experience and room for growth for freshers. Highest salary offered was 21 Lakh per annum . Average salary was 15 Lakh . Professor are totally supportive . Placement process is smooth.
Course costs one Lakh per year . Quality of education is good so I feel getting my money's worth . Professor available all time , doubt clearing classes , clubs to enhance your capabilities or to venture new options .
It's healthy environment for students There's no discrimination or racism between students . Healthy banter . Located on the road so it can easily handle emergencies . There tournaments held every now and then for students to enjoy .
The first thing you notice at DSBM is its clean and compact campus featuring smart classrooms, a library, a seminar hall, a conference hall, and a peaceful campus environment, making learning easy and comfortable.
The academics are practical and easy to understand. The faculty is very supportive and friendly, always willing to assist beyond the classroom. Whether it's clearing doubts, providing guidance, or simply motivating students, they go above and beyond.
Internships gave me good exposure and helped me understand how things work beyond the books. The placement cell is quite supportive and guides us with training sessions and various opportunities, making us job-ready.
Yes, it's definitely value for money, quality academics, friendly faculty, and opportunities make the investment worth it.
Campus life here feels like a second home with supportive friends, enjoyable events, and a vibe that keeps you smiling.
DAV School of Business Management has decent infrastructure. Classrooms are well-ventilated, with projectors and all. Computer labs are functional. canteen facilities are available and fairly maintained. Cleanliness is good and the food served in the canteen is hygienic. Overall, the college ensures a comfortable learning environment with all the basic amenities.
I'm pursuing B.Com with a focus on commerce and management because it aligns with my career goals in the corporate sector. The quality of teaching is good; most faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum covers key subjects and offers a fair balance of theory and practical learning. While some areas could be more updated with current industry trends, overall, it provides a solid foundation.
Placements at DAV School of Business Management are decent. Around 70% of students get placed. The average package offered was ₹3.5–4 LPA. The process is smooth and the college is supportive with training and guidance.
my course costs around 90,000- 100,000 per year. Considering the quality of education, supportive faculty, and available facilities, I feel it offers good value for money.
It has a clean, safe campus with a friendly vibe. Students enjoy fests, seminars, and club activities. Teachers and staff are supportive. The campus is a bit small, but well-managed. Located in a good area, it’s secure and can handle emergencies when needed.
The college infrastructure is decent but not very attractive. We have libraries, cafeteria, computer labs and conference halls. The infrastructure is however very clean and hygenic and there is greenery everywhere
I am currently pursuing BCOM HONS here. The quality of teaching is good according to the current teaching staff. The curriculum got updated as per the NEP but we won’t be completely job ready by what we have been taught
The placement is average to be honest. Hence students prefer off-campus placements. The average package is provably 8-10LPA and the highest package was 20LPA. This was offered to a student from BCOM in D.E Shaw Company.
The course cost per year is around 90 thousand. The amount is not bad for a graduation course. I do feel its worth it as we are not offered teaching limited to books, we are trained with various other soft skills as well.
One of the best things about our college is the bond between teachers and student.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment, but it is a small campus consisting of a three-floor building, where the 1st and 2nd floors are used for classes of BCom and BBA.
All the faculty members are friendly and make sure the class is engaging. The syllabus is also up to date, including the recent NEP 2020 curriculum. Teachers are good at communicating and making sure students are thorough with their subjects.
Few companies have signed with our college, like D.E. Shaw, Dabur, IndusInd Bank, Mahindra Bank, and recently Integreon. I was there at the event where it happened so overall the placements opportunities are decent. The highest package that has been offered was 21.5 lakhs by D.E. Shaw.
I mean the total course fee is 3 lakhs, equal to 1 lakh per year, which is decent for a private commerce college. Whereas the Government College of Bhubaneswar gives the same education for less than a lakh.
Campus life i also decent, there are events organized very frequently, and they have their biggest event- Genesis. InkImpact 2024 was the event that was organized for the first time since the birth of this college and it was even a bigger event than Genesis. it is located in the heart of the city, i.e. Nayapalli area so easier access to the market area.
Our college provides all the basic facilities like need and clean classroom, a library and computer labs. While it provides all essentials infrastructure for academic activities, I feel that the amenities could be improved.
I completed my BBA degree from this college. Our college is affiliated with Utkal University and is known for maintaining a curriculum which aligns with industry requirements. It provides undergraduate programs related to commerce and business. Recently, our college added the PGDM course also.
The quality of placements at our college is average. I faced some difficulties during placement process. However, I did not taking any placement offer from our campus as I was planning to pursue MBA/PGDM degree after BBA.
