Hello,

if you are asking about MBA for the campus then your CAT score needs to be 98percentile or 99 percentile.

for better managerial post, you can choose NITIE as placement performance is even better than IIT campus.

for FMS, delhi, your cat score must be above 85-90 percentile so that you can seat for sure.

all the 3 campus , you have mentioned are top business colleges which performs same as any IIM campus. if you want to get into these options then your CAT score must be in range 95-99 percentile.

hope it helps!

Hey,

Sorry to say but the academic score you have mentioned is pretty low. And as you have not specified your category I am considering it to be Open category and I am answering according to it. The FMS cut off for general category usually ranges from 97 and above percentile. So I guess it might be difficult for you to get a call from FMS. As far as XLRI is concerned, you will have to quality XAT, conducted by the college itself, to be eligible for admission.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Dear aspirant,

FMS Delhi provide a 2 year management degree. This is one of the best mba course in the country with the highest return on investment ratio.

The fees is 50,000 per year and average package is about 22 lpa. This is highest ROI for any B school in the country.

As compared to IIMs, the top Ahmedabad, Calcutta and Bangalore are the only IIMs equal to the FMS, all the other IIMs are below in the placement factor as compared to the FMS.

If you have a choice between top 3 IIMs and FMS then go with IIMs, otherwise go with FMS.

Admission to FMS take place on the basis of CAT exam.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

You might need nothing less than 95-97 percentile. This is because FMS Delhi usually has the highest cut offs for its 200 seat intake. The selection process includes 3 stage method. They are:

Eligibility Criteria
Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Final Selection

The basic eligibility criteria remains 50% aggregate for General Category in Graduation and 45% for Reserved Categories or equivalent CGPA from any recognised University. The percentiles in CAT are considered for the further rounds. In 2018, the weightage given for various sections of CAT have been as follows:

QA: 30%
DILR: 30%
VARC: 40%
An additional 3 marks are added to the Composite score in case of women for shortlisting. This score is used only for shortlisting Candidates for Personal Interview. The weightage for Final selection is as follows:
Personal Interview: 15%
CAT score: 60%
Group Discussion: 10%
Extempore: 5%
10th marks: 5%
12th marks: 5%
An additional 3 marks of the maximum aggregate will be added to the women candidates who have attended the Interview. Now with all this process, the cut offs is an important issue to be discussed. Previously FMS used to consider overall CAT score for shortlisting. However since the past 2 years, FMS has been giving sectional preference and weightage. VARC occupies the top position with 40% weightage. A Candidate with at least 97 sectional weightage will be shortlisted at FMS. So it is important to focus more on VARC section while not leaving other sections.

Hello
Percentile that you should score in CAT exam in order to get top business School depends upon your percentage in bachelor or academic record because for the final admission in the top business school your overall record will be seen so if your percentage in bachelor and your intermediate is good enough then you can consider your good chances of admission with 96 or more percentile, if you don't have good enough record in your academics then you will have to score more than 99 percentile to get into top business school.
Best of luck.

Hello Vivek,

IIms. XLRI and FMS are the top management colleges of India which provide approx 90% campus placement. Most of the students are willing to get admission in these college as these are the best. IIMs are taking students from CAT and XLRI and FMS take the students from their own entrance exam.

Getting admission in management college not only depends on your entrance exam results. It comprises of different curricular activities like Group Discussion, Personal Interview and some colleges also set some points on 10, 12 and graduation marks of the students.

As your 12th and graduation marks are no so strong but you can still get admission in these college, Firstly you have to crack their entrance exam so that they allow you to appear in GD and PI. If you have good speaking as well as thinking skill then you definitely cracks their GD and PI. So don't panic for your less marks in 12th and Graduation. Never loose your hope.

Good Luck!

The infrastructure is different from department to department. Some departments have really high-tech facilities, and others are pretty basic. Libraries are fantastic for marketing resources. There are some problems with parking and Wi-Fi on many campuses.
