The student placement committee works alongside the official cell and organises mock drives that simulate the actual process well. The peer support is strong. However, the official cell's response time to student queries is slow. Basic questions about drive eligibility often take days to get answered, creating unnecessary anxiety.

The computer labs are functional with adequate system. Overall its quite small and compact yet the location is good its very accessible to travel easily in NCR.

At JIMS Kalkaji, I believe the infrastructure and facilities are quite good overall- adequate for academic and extra curricular needs, with reasonable upkeep in most areas. All classrooms are air conditioned. There are indoor and outdoor sport facilities available. The college has a cafeteria/canteen, serves good quality food at reasonable prices.
At JIMS Kalkaji I find the academic curriculum ad teaching standard to be well- structured, reasonably rigorous and, industry oriented though it totally depends on students own's effort and involvement in projects, internships and seminars which are being provided by college.
From what I have observe and know as a bcom hons student : the placement infrastructure and support system at JIMS Kalkaji gives a decent platform and an opportunity. If you are motivated, maintained good academics, attend placement- training sessions, and prepare well (CV, interviews), there's a reasonable shot at a good placement. Over all I'd rate placement at JIMS as fair to good with potential,-better than many colleges at similar fee/affordability level.

Very poor my hopes were shattered the first time i saw the placements. Call centres and what not Sales Trainee even the students with high skillsets so i dont recommend this if youre going for placements

Overall I would give this college 4 stars out of 5. The Faculty is very good but the college in terms of infrastructure is a bit small. You can develop and grow your skills by participating in the college events and be a part of societies.
I am studying B.COM (Hons) because I think that you can go to any field of commerce I.e. you get an idea of all the subjects and can pursue masters in any domain whether it be economics or business administration. I think that the curriculum is up to date at JIMS Kalkaji and the faculty is also very good and understanding.
While I am not at the stage where I can personally say about the placements of JIMS Kalkaji but from what I have seen and heard you can get very good placements at this college and the Placement Cell of JIMS is also focusing on internships for 2nd Year students as well.
I think the college can be a good value for money as the faculty is good and supportive and you can get guidance from them apart from your academics like if you are doing CA or CS. And you might feel a change in your personality after joining societies and college events. A good change.
As I said earlier the campus life would be very good as you can easily access metro and bus to travel any where and as the college is located in South Delhi more specifically near Nehru Place you can visit nearby places like Lotus Temple. CP is also very near. So from my POV campus life would be good but it's just that the college is a bit small.
Great well maintained infrastructure in the college premises everything is well organised and structured the classrooms have digital projectors hostel facilities are provided to the students and the mess area serves multiple options.
The academic courses are rigorous and bit challenging but the faculty members and the alloted professors of the subject matter ensures that students understand everything in a fluid way and the learning gets very easier.
Placements in the college are fairly good with the placement committee being very active and approachable they manage to bring companies offering different role sets in the field of sales marketing finance and tech almost 85 percent of students secure placements during the process.
Jim’s Kalkaji is having pretty solid setup when it comes to infrastructure. The classroom are all modern with Ac, smart boards, projector and good wifi. Computer labs are well equipped with fast internet.
Academics at Jim’s are a good mix of classroom learning and hands on experience. It’s designed to prep you for the real world , not just exams. For BBA/BCOM you have to clear CET(GGSIPU EXAM). They also bring in guest speakers from top companies.
