Shoolini University Admissions 2025
ApplyNAAC A+ Grade | Ranked No.1 Private University in India (QS World University Rankings 2025)
Hello!
FMS delhi is one of the top b schools of India. The competition for fms is high not only because it's in top 10 b schools but also because the fees is very less. It has the best ROI in India as compared to any top b schools. Fms Fms d is a government institue. The cat cut off for engineers go above 99+ percentile and for non-engineers it's goes above 98+ percentile. Fms not only looks at your cat score but also your gdpi wat performance and overall profile.
If you've can score above 98.5+ percentile with good academics and extra curriculars, and you can justify convincingly why you did you graduation through open learning, only then you've chances to get a call. You meed to compete among the best profiles, so the chances are very narrow. For more information visit the link below:
I hope this helps.
Hi dear,
First you should complete your graduation with good academics and participate in your college events. After completing graduation you have to appear in CAT and score a very good percentile more than 99. IIMs takes admission on the basis of CAT percentile. In FMS Delhi the admission is based on 70 percent CAT score and 30 percent GD.
Hope it helps.
Hari, usually CW4 Category is for the wards of those defence personnel in peace time with disability attributable to military service. There are a total 10 seats allotted for CW Category in whole for FMS. FMS Delhi usually has the highest cut offs for its 200 seat intake. The selection process includes 3 stage method. They are:
Eligibility Criteria
Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Final Selection
The basic eligibility criteria remains 50% aggregate for General Category in Graduation and 45% for Reserved Categories or equivalent CGPA from any recognised University. The percentiles in CAT are considered for the further rounds. In 2018, the weightage given for various sections of CAT have been as follows:
QA: 30%
DILR: 30%
VARC: 40%
An additional 3 marks are added to the Composite score in case Of women for shortlisting. This score is used only for shortlisting Candidates for Personal Interview. The weightage for Final selection is as follows:
Personal Interview: 15%
CAT score: 60%
Group Discussion: 10%
Extempore: 5%
10th marks: 5%
12th marks: 5%
An additional 3 marks of the maximum aggregate will be added to the women candidates who have attended the Interview. Now with all this process, the cut offs is an important issue to be discussed. Previously FMS used to consider overall CAT score for shortlisting. However since the past 2 years, FMS has been giving sectional preference and weightage. VARC occupies the top position with 40% weightage. A Candidate with atleast 97 sectional weightage will be shortlisted at FMS. So it is important to focus more on VARC section while not leaving other sections.
The Composite score for CW4 Category as mentioned in our article https://bschool.careers360.com/news/fms-delhi-shortlists-2157-candidates-for-mba-2016-18-selection-process-161066 is 24.561. Now though this is an old data and though the no.s might have changed over the years, the formula and gist remain the same.
Composite Score = â(Score in Section * Weightage)/Max Marks for the Section”.
So you will need sectional weightage of more than 85% and an over all percentage of 90-95%.
Dear aspirant,
FMS Delhi do not call student based on their past academic performance but only on their cat score. For a general category student to get a call from FMS Delhi you have to score a minimum of 99.5 percentile. However in converting a call good academic will always be a plus. And in your case since you have decent academic score you might convert FMS if you get a 99.5 percentile and perform well in the the GD PI extempore.
Hope hope this helps. Thank you.
Hi Niharika,
Your academics score is very good. But getting into FMS is doesn't about only academics or CAT percentile. But also upon Group discussion and Personal Interview. But if you talk about Percentile then 97+ percentile will be good enough for OBC candidate to get call from FMS.
There are total 287 seats in which 101 is for General and 69 seats are for OBC and the rest for the SC,ST,EWS and other categories.
Hope this will help, please feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Thank You.
Hey,
Your academic is below average and not good enough for you to get a call from institutions like IIMs.
Admission to IIMs is based on several factors like your CAT score, academic profile and extracurricular activities.
Since your academic profile is not that great,so try to score as high as 98 percentile or above in CAT. Then, there would be some chance for you to get a call from IIMs.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Hello Aspirant,
Please specify your caste for more better answer if you are talking about FMS DELHI than for a general category 99+ or in some case 99.5+ is the cutoff for an OBC candidate 95+ is a safe score and for a SC candidate 80+ is a safe score, FMS Delhi sees cat score more importantly than your profile so you have to work hard for FMS DELHI other than this they also give more impornce to RC and Verbal section.
For FMS BHU general cutoff is 83 percentile for getting a call for GD and PI in previous year.
I hope the above information is beneficial for you.
All the best.
Hello,
There is no minimum percentage written for 10th and 12th for FMS admission. the only eligibility criteria is :- the candidate must have graduated from a registered college or university and must have minimum 50% or equivalent CGPA. For reserved category students there is 45 % or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates who are in their final year can also apply for it.

Being a central university, its campus is well maintained. Classrooms are tidy, air-conditioned or otherwise, and well equipped with projectors and comfortable chairs. The library is superb spacious, friendly, quiet, and well stocked with management books, journals, and access to electronic libraries.
The infrastructure is different from department to department. Some departments have really high-tech facilities, and others are pretty basic. Libraries are fantastic for marketing resources. There are some problems with parking and Wi-Fi on many campuses.
The infrastructure is above average. It has all facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, A/C classrooms, library and medical facilities. Labs and classrooms are air-conditioned and contain all the required material. The mess was also designed well, and the food was awesome.
