National Institute Of Fashion Technology has not yet announced the dates for NIFT 2020 situation test, group discussion, interview but it will be notified soon. The BDES Course at the NIFT is of 4 years. The program is spread over 8 semesters, with the final semester being based on the candidate’s chosen stream of study.

NID is purely dedicated to design areas. There are few courses only for fashion related.

People works in depth of each area of design viz, fashion, automobiles, lifestyle, architecture, film, cartoons, movie making, communication and many more. They're not just stick to fashion world.

NID people work to change the world.

NIFT is mostly dedicated to fashion world as I said earlier.

There are many branches but indirectly they all are connected with fashion only, viz; Leather, Textiles, Lifestyle, Knitwear, Fashion communication etc.

NID have very limited no. Of seats for both PG & UG.

Nid exams pick up different categories of students each year based on what they are looking.

Like, if they are picking students who are good in imagination or they have good presence of minds.

Accordingly they compose their question papers.

NIFT almost goes on same pattern.

In second semester of BDes Fashion Designing course you'll have topics like Fashion sketching and illustration, Apparel Development, Current Trends and forecasting, Computer Aided design, History of Fashion, Fashion Orientation etc. Generally in first year there'll be basic concepts and drawings.

In the first year the syllabus will be same for all the b.des students among all the nift centres. You be will learing about basic drawing skill, geometry, introduction to elements of design, colour theories, digital design, art and design asthetics, fashion studies.

NIFT usually releases the application form in October. So it can be anticipated that National Institute of Fashion Technology will release the application form for NIFT 2021 admission in the month of October. No it's not completely their responsibility. They will try their best to shape you the best and make you deserving enough to get a respectful job on your own merit but you cannot take that for granted. It's you who has to struggle and earn that. NIFT Delhi has great education facilities so probably you need to focus throughout the year pretty well and yes then you can get a decent respectful job for sure.

Hostel rooms in NIFT are available in both AC and Non AC format. As per last year, hostel fee for AC room is around INR 37,500 and INR 34,500 per annum. Security deposit amount INR 2,500 which is refundable.

Security deposit amount which is non refundable INR 2,000. Electricity charges Amount INR 28,000. Service charges INR 7,000. Mess charges INR 42,000. Exam fee around INR 3,500. These fees are of last year's and subject to change this year.
