Dear Aspirant,

CAT is designed to evaluate your creativity, design quotient, illustration skills and your basic streak to design, paint, draw and portray your ideas. There are six aspects which are evaluated:

  1. Creativity
  2. Observation Power
  3. Innovation in Development of a Concept

  5. Innovative Use of Colours
  6. Illustration Skills

There is no specific syllabus for the same but here are some topics which could help you prepare for the exam:

  • Design Theory
  • Colour Terminology
  • Inspiration & Design Development
  • Colour Psychology & Optical Illusions
  • Natural & Geometrical Form
  • Elements & Principles Of Design

You can also start blogging. Blogging is very demanding in today's market. You can start your own blog and can collaborate with others from the same field.

You can also work with a styling industry or a modelling industry just to gain exposure.

Companies like Mark and Spencer, Raymond, etc also hire interns and fresher for fashion stylist work. You can also go for such jobs.

Also,if you are a student, then you can join a local advertisement firm or local photo studio and work as fashion stylist there.
There are unlimited opportunities if you look for. You can start at home too. You can style your own self and earn on social media too.

Hope this helps!
