I am experiencing new things in infrastructure in this college. The college is very neat and clean and well maintained. It has different laboratories for different departments. Food and water is very hygienic.
I am currently studying information technology. Our teachers mainly focus on study help students to clear their doubts. There are wonderful faculties and they are very talented and yes our curriculum is updated and yes it makes us job ready.
We have placements ratio which is really appreciated by our whole state. The efforts of the training and placement cell of our college to bring dream companies should be noted as a growing campus but currently placements are not going well.
University has beautiful infrastructure with all the required facilities. Big library, well maintained laboratories, furnished classrooms, washrooms are present at each floor and are quite good and kept clean.
I am a second year student pursuing computer science and engineering stream. The teaching style of the college is good and faculties are student friendly and helpful enough to solve any kind of doubt of the students.
College conducts lot of career guidance seminars throughout the year which help the students to choose their own path. The placement process is nicely explained by the faculty and thus it is easy and pleasant for us.
Our college has in my time all the equipments required for a college to be treated as good. Colleges infrastructure is really so great it gives access to everything to students classroom, Library, Sports centres, canteens and hostel.
There are many clubs for students to enhance their skills and participate in co-curricular activities. For academics, it has well educated faculties for every branch, HODs and Deans give much support to students.
As a graduated student from lower branch I can say that placements are good but not for lower branch. We have certain top companies like Wipro, IBM, Accenture, ZOHO, Capgemini etc. 70-75% of students get placements every year for top three branches.
The facilities in classroom are well but they are not used at all and they are not well maintained too.The mess food is reasonable. Our college campus is not too big in size but it is very cleaned and hygienic though.
I am a 4th year student pursuing mechanical engineering. To provide strong conceptual foundation to the students, regular academic training sessions are provided.Curriculum is updated and advanced, which makes us job ready.
Almost 85-90% students are placed every year and remaining 10% students go for higher studies.Process of placement is easy and the tnp cell is quite helpful during the whole process. We have less package offers for many of the students except for some.
In the classrooms, benches are quite good. There are good laboratories and library is much better and so spacious. All required books and journals can be found in library and maintenance of the same is also nice.
The curriculum and syllabus followed in the college are designed in a way to provide the student with real time knowledge.Teachers are good and have practical knowledge. But they don't give equal attention to every student.
The placement quality of my college is average, with only 60-70% of students being placed.Last year highest package went to 40 lpa. The college has a tnp cell that offers significant assistance to students in securing job opportunities.
The college provides modern and well maintained facilities. The classrooms are equipped with the latest technology.Laborities are very well built with fine infrastructure. But the college canteen is small, with less sitting space.
I am a 2nd year undergraduate student pursuing electrical engineering. Teachers are well qualified. The curriculum is updated and they focus on current technologies. The teachers here provide proper guidance for future as well.
Quality of placements is good. Some of the students also look forward to start their own business,or opt for further studies because average package offer is not that great.Only cs,it students get good package in our college.
Infrastructure was good and labs were maintained well enough. Facilities like wifi and each branch have different building except electronics and telecommunication branch. College have gym also and different sports grounds.
I studied biomedical engineering here. According to me the curriculum is up to date and we got timely informed about the changes. Teachers know things and are always available to clear out our doubts.
Quality of placements in our college depends on which branch you are enrolled in. Around 60% of students got placed in IT companies. The maximum package offered is 40 lpa and minimum was 3-4 lakhs per annum.
In our time the college was still getting upgraded and now hearing from our juniors it has been upgraded to a great extent.the college is well-equipped with all the instruments which are required during practical session. I will visit it someday.
The professors of our electrical engineering branch are one of the best and skilled in the whole college. The curriculum gets updated time to time but still we have to study from outside to get out jobs.
50-60 percentage placement ratio is there considering all branches but considering it cs it is almost 90% and also here you will get a environment for clearing gate , UPSC exam and other competitive exams.
An infrastructure worth telling about. In classroom 100 students can seat together, has wifi connection all over the campus except hostels. Each classrooms have smart board and projectors. We have different sports grounds which are well maintained.
Studying electrical engineering because electronics are my passion. Every branch has its speciality and recently new courses and specialization are added to the academics. It doesn't make us job ready so we have to study somethings on our own.
Quality of placements as mentioned by seniors is good. The college helped the students to get the job and teachers are very supportive to the students to get placed in good companies. I will have my placements next year.
All the students are provided with internet facility. We have neat and clean spacious classes with all required necessities.Well maintained classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostel facility is available here.
Teaching is average and it mostly depends upon the students ability. The only bad thing about this college is 75% attendance system, which is quite irritating at times. The curriculum is well structured and organised.
Every department gets good number of jobs and the quality of placements at my college is pretty good. The % of students getting placed is also decent and the companies offering jobs are well equipped.
Based on your JEE Main 2025 rank of 3,41,581 in the OBC category under the home state quota, securing admission to (SGSITS), Indore, may be challenging.
Your rank of 3,41,581 is significantly higher than the closing ranks for most branches in the OBC category in previous years.
With a 79.7 percentile and GEN-EWS category, you can likely gain admission to lower-demand branches at SGSITS Indore, assuming you have a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and IT may be difficult to secure with this percentile. Lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may be more accessible due to the home state quota and EWS reservation.
Percentile to Rank:
A 79.7 percentile in JEE Main typically translates to a Common Rank List (CRL) rank between 160,000 and 250,000.
SGSITS Indore Cutoff Trends:
Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for EWS candidates at SGSITS Indore vary depending on the branch.
EWS and Home State Quota:
EWS and home state quotas can significantly improve your chances of securing a seat, especially in branches with lower demand.
Branch Preferences:
You should prioritize branches with potentially lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Competitive Branches:
Highly competitive branches like Computer Science and IT will likely require a higher percentile and/or rank.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The final seat allotment will depend on your rank, category, branch preference, and available seats.
With a JEE Main rank of 5,28,143 in the ST category (home state), it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in popular branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. You may be considered for lower-demand branches, depending on their cutoff trends. However, it is advisable to check the official counseling details for accurate and updated information.
