Our college is best in terms of infrastructure and location. Students can wear what they wish to and we having a big and spacious campus with well stocked library and laboratories. We have good quality food and water.
I graduated in computer science. Relatively hectic with more than 15 lectures per week with not much industry visit but practical discussion around case studies often takes place. The curriculum gets updated regularly too.
It is very good as compared to other state colleges. Every year about 95% students get placements but from top branches and the average package offered is also nice as it is 8 to 10 lacs per annum. The placement process is not so easy as you have to be good in skills.
The college infrastructure is very good. They have one huge library, different sports grounds, many computer labs, hostels for both girls and boys which are also in very good condition. The living spaces were good too except washrooms.
I studied computer science. The teachers are very well trained in teaching students. They believe that by putting significant efforts, all students will be able to achieve success in life. Their teachings made us job ready to a certain extent.
We have ample amount of placements which are good for those students who are scoring more than 7 GPA and students of top branches too overall many multinational companies arrive in the college during the placement time.
We have computers which are well maintained and even laboratories have air conditioning. WiFi is available in library. Sports centre, classrooms are in used and well maintained. Living places are clean and hygienic except washrooms.
I am currently studying information technology. The professors share their knowledge in a friendly manner, making it easy for students to understand and gain knowledge. It does make us job ready to some extent.
As told by our seniors, this year companies are less. The registration process is a tad bit difficult. The average salary is 10 lakhs and the highest can even touch 40 lakhs too. The minimum is 2 lakhs.
Our college was getting upgraded at the time I was in college. There is really great experience in the campus while roaming in the campus when I came back after covid and spending time in the college cafe. Food is hygienic.
I studied computer science one of the top branches of our college. It follows strictly the updated syllabus and is totally focused with practical knowledge. The teachers are well educated and well experienced.
Placements in the last years have been good overall but in the upcoming years it can get affected due to recession. Many students also get their dream package from dream companies but this year as I heard there is some recession going on due to which lesser companies are coming.
The facilities and equipment are all as they should be. Campus is good and I always see hygiene everywhere in campus and the laboratories is also good and well maintained. There are projectors used to teach students.
I studied industry production here. They teach with hard work and full dedication. They will listen your problems and try to solve them. They also provide proper study material for you if you want to go for gate or placements.
In our year the placements were good but not this year due to recession. Most students are who already have a few years experience so they are at a total advantage and their packages sky rocket to around 30-40 lpa.
Our college ensures regular maintenance and upkeep of all infrastructural facilities.Hostels are really good and well maintained, but wifi is not good in any way, there is a 500 mb daily data limit to it.
I am a second year cse undergraduate student.Teachers here do their best to make students reach up to the best potential. The curriculum is updated and has all the recent developments of the field, making us job ready.
The graph of placement is growing year by year and there are several good companies which visits the college campus. The companies offer placement to hundreds of students considering their skills, practical knowledge and communication.
The College infrastructure is best ,facilities of our college are awesome. There is a huge central library in the campus,it have a lot of books available.Hostels are well maintained. Mess food available is really nice.
I am a 2nd year student pursuing information and technology engineering.Teachers here are good and have practical knowledge. The curriculum is updated recently but is still old fashioned. It doesn't make us job ready but can be use to score good marks in exams.
Placements are good enough provided by the institute but it totally depends on our skills and knowledge. The college provides training sessions to develop knowledge in IT field. The placement process is not so easy as there are many complexities in it.
Our college is now very much upgraded since 2022 as I have heard from my juniors. Wifi is provided everywhere with a very low speed and limited access to apps . The food and water is hygienic but the taste is not there.
I studied electronics and telecommunication from this college. Our college's academics was exceptional offering a wide range of challenging courses taught by knowledgeable professors the curriculum was good.
The quality is good but preference is always given to cs it branches even if our branch got the highest package. The placements suffer from insufficient quality of training, resulting in low average packages.
Our college has necessary infrastructure and the labs are fully equipped with latest equipments. Very modern and international level of architecture fully air conditioned classrooms and a central library and a branch Library.
I graduated from electrical engineering branch. The teachers have good knowledge from their domain, and they are highly qualified. All the teachers teach with great enthusiasm and energy. The curriculum is also updated.
Partial type of placement quality which gives preference to higher branches. Also, TPO cell tries their best that so all students don't get placed except their members and makes the procedure difficult.
Our college has a very good learning environment especially our branch. With its minutely designed infrastructure and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene, the college sets new bars for educational institutions.
I am in computer science branch. Our curriculum is based on trending technologies and gets updated every semester. The quality of teaching is really professional as they don't let us have any doubts not cleared.
We have high quality placements especially in our branch as told to us by seniors. The very big stable companies comes to the campus placement. 80-90% students get placed. The highest salary package is about 30-40 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 12 lakhs per annum.
Based on your JEE Main 2025 rank of 3,41,581 in the OBC category under the home state quota, securing admission to (SGSITS), Indore, may be challenging.
Your rank of 3,41,581 is significantly higher than the closing ranks for most branches in the OBC category in previous years.
With a 79.7 percentile and GEN-EWS category, you can likely gain admission to lower-demand branches at SGSITS Indore, assuming you have a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and IT may be difficult to secure with this percentile. Lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may be more accessible due to the home state quota and EWS reservation.
Percentile to Rank:
A 79.7 percentile in JEE Main typically translates to a Common Rank List (CRL) rank between 160,000 and 250,000.
SGSITS Indore Cutoff Trends:
Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for EWS candidates at SGSITS Indore vary depending on the branch.
EWS and Home State Quota:
EWS and home state quotas can significantly improve your chances of securing a seat, especially in branches with lower demand.
Branch Preferences:
You should prioritize branches with potentially lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Competitive Branches:
Highly competitive branches like Computer Science and IT will likely require a higher percentile and/or rank.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The final seat allotment will depend on your rank, category, branch preference, and available seats.
With a JEE Main rank of 5,28,143 in the ST category (home state), it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in popular branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. You may be considered for lower-demand branches, depending on their cutoff trends. However, it is advisable to check the official counseling details for accurate and updated information.
