The college is very well located with a sprawling campus on outskirts of the city. The complete campus has high speed WiFi connectivity and also decent amount of sports facilities. The academic life is good with some great and some not so great faculties and it feels like there is exam season all year round with some exam almost every second week but you still get the time to enjoy your college life because of the people around you. Talking about placements , almost everyone gets placed , don't ask where (Software Companies irrespective of your stream of engineering) but you also get a few great companies. All in all decent enough college and I will say definitely amongst the top in Madhya Pradesh.

IET is one of the top engineering institutes among central India and really it has potential to be the best especially the student power. What I get to know is that the students of this institute is very enthusiastic in every field. Although, the resources here available is not plenty compared with top Indian institutes. But still, all the creative minds are giving their best in every field whether to make our own startup or anything else( having more than 3-4 startups presently). Here, some of the teachers are very experienced having their own articles in journals and some are new comers hence it's overall good. As a hostelite, I am experiencing the hostel life that's just ausumn. We celebrate all festivals with lots of fun, masti and unforgettable experiences. Seniors are very helpful. Moreover, it can't be explain in words as I am loving this hostel life very much. Campus is quite very green having lots of big trees. Despite having a large area still it is not properly managed having very less grounds for playing. But, nice thing is every branch has its own building ( block). What I get to know here is that if students of this college able to get national level opportunities( that we have are creating by ownself) then they will bang.

The blocks of the campus are based on departments which simplify accessibility and setup of the structure. It should have better furniture as it has grown too old. The Alumni must contribute to the placements and industry exposure as a large proportion of the students go for higher studies and thus make it to huge multinationals and innovative startups.

This college is amazing but the best part is the hostel life. Guys of you get the college do prefer the college hostel rather than the private hostels. This thing will let you experience amazing moments and will let you create memories and cherish them later.

College life has been outstanding for me, though infrastructure is not that attractive but yes placements are too attractive. I suppose its 1 of the best college in that area to have that placement results. Some of the faculties may disappoint you but afterall its college and not some army school.

"DAVV, Indore has been a leading University of central India. The University within the framework of its UTD opened a self-financing engineering Institute named Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET). It started its academic journey with glorious dreams on 04 September 1996. It has been popularly known as IET-DAVV. IET was started with a total intake of 90 students in three branches of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) - Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering having 30 students each. The first batch of these 90 students started their engineering career while studying in the classrooms of the sister UTD- School of Computer Science (SCS) and had got initially financial support from the other UTD- International Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS). It is an approved Institution by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Government of Madhya Pradesh and University Grants Commission (UGC). IET is academically autonomous with flexible and modern curriculum in all branches of engineering. It is fully self-financing Institute offering BE programmes in six branches. Recently, AICTE has approved 180 additional seats making total intake of 540 students per year. IET became PG Institute in 2002 and presently it is conducting ME Programmes with six specializations. In year 2006, MSc program in Applied Mathematics was also started. PhD programme is also offered in all disciplines of BE/ME Programmes & all relevant areas of interest. Research component of IET is also strong while a number of research scholars from other reputed organizations such as SGSITS, AICTE, RRCAT, NRCS, IIITA, etc. have registered for PhD programme in various departments of IET. All these UG/PG/Doctoral programmes come under Faculty of Engineering of DAVV. In a short span of fourteen years, IET has progressed with leaps & bounds and has made many landmarks: Healthy academic environment in its lush green campus. Excellent placement in the past seven years. Admission of pass outs at top Institutes/ Universities in India & abroad. Top rank in India by students in GATE examination in years 2001, 2002 and 2009. Excellent performance of students in Robotic Competition and other tech-fest. Over 100 research publications at national and international level by the faculty in a year. Honour of being Editors, Referee and member of editorial board of reputed journals The cultural activities held every year that match national standards. MHRD selected IET Campus for initiating IIT Indore as temporary location w.e.f. 2009-10. MoUs signed with NIC, RRCAT, TCS and Eicher Motors for knowledge exchange. IET-DAVV has been creadited as ""A"" Grade university by NAAC in year 2014. It is the best institute in MP."
