We have a capturing infrastructure and is well maintained. Libraries are well equipped with books required, along with air conditioning facilities in laboratories with fully equipped computers. The location is also very nice.
I am studying computer science. All the Professor was so understanding and very supportive. They were very friendly towards their students. The current curriculum does not get updated that easily but is updating constantly.
The quality is very good but this year it is getting degraded. The dedicated placement cell works tirelessly to secure excellent job opportunities for students. Reputed companies visit the campus, offering diverse career options. This year due to recession placement is less.
New buildings are made in our college just our department building needs a bit of renovation and the laboratories need new equipments. The living spaces are hygienic and we have got a common library. The two new buildings are very good though.
I am enrolled in mechanical engineering. The teachers slack in teaching and race the syllabus at the end of the sem. We try to keep up with the attendence but mostly fall short because teachers don't come. But still the current curriculum is interesting.
There is a dedicated placement cell but does nothing for our small branches. Even in which the college authorities just inform about the ongoing interviews and the students themselves has to search their possibility and pave their own way. The placements are going on and they are not pleasant.
We have a small area but the campus infrastructure is well planned. It is provided with many facilities such as stationary shop, gym, library with wifi facility in it,big grounds for different sports games played.
I am enrolled in B.pharma branch of this college. Honestly speaking some faculties are inexperienced but the curriculum is so interesting that you will get to learn most of the things out of curiosity. You will always get to learn new things.
The placements ratio of higher branches is very good. It is okay because our branch graduates do not get impressive placements in any college. Still the placement cell tries its best every year to attract as many placements as possible and give our branch some jobs.
The college has just enough facilities. Wifi doesn't work properly sometimes. Washrooms for girls should be clean and are not.The College library is amazing though ,it consists of a vast collection of books which are required by the students.
I am currently enrolled in electrical engineering. The quality of teaching was great. Teachers had good knowledge, always ready to help, used to give practical life examples for better understanding. The curriculum is updating every semester but not enough to make students job ready.
This year placements went a bit downhill as told by our seniors. The reason was recession and our college's ranking is also a bit low. But there is a option to teach in the same college after graduation which is quite easy to get so no worries after all.
The computer science department is newly built and has very well maintained laboratories with ac and staff rooms also with ac. Though the college campus is small the planning is impressive and there are buildings for different departments. The classrooms are very huge.
I am studying computer science. The professors know what they are teaching. The curriculum is updated according to the recent times. Following the curriculum and learning in time does not make the students job ready but they need a little self practice.
The quality has been good until last batch. The tech sector offers highest paying jobs for dtu students but with a cache that you must of a tech brach like computer science information technology etc but this time these branches are also getting less companies.
The campus of sgsits is one of the most beautiful campuses in Indore. The street of the college is clean and garden area is best for seating. All day our college management is keeping check that the streets are not littered with withered leaves.
I am studying computer science. The curriculum is updated with the change in the industry pattern. It includes all the current developments and technologies but still it does not make us job ready to that much extent because self effort is required.
Placements are nice. There is a college tnp cell which sees to the placements and calls the different companies. This year companies are less in number and also taking less students due to recession and the students are suffering.
Our campus is awesome. At least from what I have explored. It has library, separate practical labs, smart classrooms with projectors, wifi connectivity, freshly filtered and chilled water. Our campus is neat and clean always but not the toilets.
I am studying information technology. Curriculum is updated to the latest. Teachers are helpful and kind. They are interactive with students and try to clear as much doubts as possible. The curriculum does not get us job ready.
Placements are good that's why I chose this college but seniors tell us another story. Also after 3rd year there are many companies who came to give intern to the students but not this year. Approximately 90% of the students gets placement and at the end but this year it will be only 20-30%.
Infrastructure is very great. There is more in less space. Campus is very eco friendly. Dustbins are provided all around the campus to ensure cleanliness. All hostels are neat, wifi banded, canteens, parks, playgrounds for different types of sports.
I am studying computer science. The professors are really educated and they are really capable of visualising the real practical world along with the realm of following theories to improve, develop and build us as students of computer science.
Placements are nice and the college is somewhat supportive to an extent. Training is given from 2nd year itself for students to prepare well and good. Highest package is 40lpa in ece branch in 2022 and avg last year was 8lpa.
Good location and good greenery with banks and atm. Laboratories and libraries have all modernized equipments and technology. Sports centres and hostels are all used and well maintained. Only washrooms are a bit messy.
I am studying computer science. The quality of teaching is quite decent. Teachers are very supportive and friendly. Our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field of computer science engineering.
Quality was good until this year. Placement training was started for batch after the recruitment of some companies which was the major drawback for our batch. But students were placed in duff domains.
Our college has different department buildings. Our classrooms have white boards and projectors. 24/7 high speed WI-FI connection. Laboratories and libraries are all used and well maintained. We have different sports playgrounds too.
I am studying electrical engineering. Teachers are very friendly and supportive. Our curriculum is quite updated and includes all the recent developments in the field of electrical engineering but what we study does not make us job ready.
The quality is deteriorated somewhat. Most of the students get placed in the field of programming suggesting that CSE and ECE students get the highest packages. Core field students have fewer packages offered to them. Core branches does not get placed that much.
Based on your JEE Main 2025 rank of 3,41,581 in the OBC category under the home state quota, securing admission to (SGSITS), Indore, may be challenging.
Your rank of 3,41,581 is significantly higher than the closing ranks for most branches in the OBC category in previous years.
With a 79.7 percentile and GEN-EWS category, you can likely gain admission to lower-demand branches at SGSITS Indore, assuming you have a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Highly sought-after branches like Computer Science and IT may be difficult to secure with this percentile. Lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering may be more accessible due to the home state quota and EWS reservation.
Percentile to Rank:
A 79.7 percentile in JEE Main typically translates to a Common Rank List (CRL) rank between 160,000 and 250,000.
SGSITS Indore Cutoff Trends:
Based on previous years' data, the closing ranks for EWS candidates at SGSITS Indore vary depending on the branch.
EWS and Home State Quota:
EWS and home state quotas can significantly improve your chances of securing a seat, especially in branches with lower demand.
Branch Preferences:
You should prioritize branches with potentially lower cutoffs, such as Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Competitive Branches:
Highly competitive branches like Computer Science and IT will likely require a higher percentile and/or rank.
Counselling and Seat Allotment:
The final seat allotment will depend on your rank, category, branch preference, and available seats.
With a JEE Main rank of 5,28,143 in the ST category (home state), it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in popular branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. You may be considered for lower-demand branches, depending on their cutoff trends. However, it is advisable to check the official counseling details for accurate and updated information.
