Modern campus, placements boost my confidence.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Studying here, I appreciate the airy classrooms and easy access to tech resources. The quiet library is my favorite spot, and I often unwind in the landscaped gardens between lectures. After classes, I relax with friends in the shaded garden or use the indoor sports facilities, which help manage stress and keep us active.

    Academics

Third-year learning is fast-paced but rewarding. Professors encourage independent thinking—doubts are cleared both in and outside class. I like how assignments often involve real-world applications, not just theory.

    Placements

Placement season creates a buzz—trainers offer resume tips and practice interviews. Watching seniors land jobs at top IT firms motivates me. Networking events let us interact with recruiters and industry professionals.

    College Infrastructure

As a Kerala student, I find the campus clean and green with spacious classrooms and labs. Hostel life is decent but strict about phone use. The library is well-stocked, and sports facilities keep campus life active and balanced.

    Academics

The IT curriculum is solid with practical coding focus. Professors are helpful, though some topics feel rushed. Regular workshops and certifications improve skills, but hands-on projects could be more frequent.

    Placements

Placement support is strong with companies like Infosys and Wipro visiting. Average packages are good for freshers, around 4.5-6 LPA. Soft skills training and mock interviews helped me build confidence.

    Value for Money

Tuition fees are reasonable for the facilities and exposure provided. Scholarships and financial aid ease burden for students from Kerala like me. Overall, it’s good value considering academics and placement outcomes.

    Campus Life

Campus life is disciplined yet vibrant, with cultural events and sports. The no-phone rule is strict but fosters focus. Hostel bonding with students from diverse backgrounds makes it feel like a home away from home.

Disciplined campus, no phone usage inside campus

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Campus is clean, spacious, and disciplined with modern amenities like air-conditioned classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, huge library, and extensive sports facilities. Hostels have decent rooms but strict rules, including no phone usage inside campus.

    Academics

Academics are organized, curriculum follows Anna University, and faculty is experienced. Many branches focus on coding, research, and industry certifications, but practical exposure can be limited for some courses.

    Placements

About 75-85% are placed every year. The highest salary is 47 LPA, average is 4.5–6 LPA; top recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Zoho, Wipro, and HCL. Placement training is career-focused and regular.

    Academics need modern updates.

    College Infrastructure

The campus is sprawling and well-kept, with clean classrooms, air-conditioned labs, and a huge library stocked with books and e-resources. There's a decent cafeteria, and the sports grounds and auditorium are solid—great if you like extra-curriculars.

    Academics

The faculty are generally helpful, with good industry knowledge and approachable demeanors. But the syllabus follows Anna University, so it feels a bit behind modern trends. Still, you get enough foundation; it’s on you to explore new tech

    Placements

Placements are pretty decent for IT. Around 80% of students get placed, with packages averaging ₹4–5 LPA and top offers near ₹8–12 LPA; companies like Amazon, Servicenow, Wipro, TCS, and Infosys visit. The placement cell is active with training and drives.

    Value for Money

For what you pay, it’s solid. Infrastructure and placement support are strong. But there are days when fees feel steep for what’s offered—especially if you're expecting high-tech curriculum.

    Campus Life

Campus life is lively, with clubs, fests, and activities to keep things interesting. It’s generally friendly and safe. But don’t expect too much freedom—attendance and rules are enforced.

    College Infrastructure

SJCE College Infrastructure of campus is really big and maintained well. Classrooms are okay, labs have enough computers but sometimes software is outdated. Library is useful but not very modern. Canteen food is decent, some days it’s really good.

    Academics

Academics are average. Some teachers are very supportive and explain well, but few just rush through topics. Syllabus feels old, not fully matching today’s IT industry. If you want new tech like cloud, AI, data science, you need to learn outside on your own.

    Placements

Placements are there but mostly service-based companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS. Only a few product companies come. Salary packages are not very high, but students who work on extra skills outside get better chances.SJCE College gives training for aptitude and coding, but still self-effort matters a lot.

Ignored batch, no support or placements.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

In SJCE, Civil department had basic labs but many were not updated. Some equipment did not work properly. For a professional course like civil engineering, the facilities felt very poor and disappointing.

    Academics

We are the last civil batch in this college, and it feels like the department was already ignored. Teaching was average, not much motivation, and there was no proper focus on our future. Even though we got chance in IIT Bombay Mapathon, it was more by our effort than real support from college.

    Placements

The worst part of my department in St. Joseph's College of Engineering is placements. Not a single proper company came for civil. All placement drives were only for other departments students, so civil students were left with no options inside campus.

    Value for Money

No placements, no proper industry training, and outdated syllabus made it a waste of money and time.

This college is just looking wow in structure wise

    College Infrastructure

I am very proud to review about my college. The college infrastructure is not like other colleges. It's infrastructure looks like school. Hostel water quality was too bad, sometimes lizard also live in water.

    Academics

The quality of teaching is quite well need to be improve. The college curriculum is not best for me. Because there is no recent developments added to subjects. So the studying quality is not good. I studied only at the day before of the exam.

    Placements

The quality of placements at my college is average. The placements record of students placed in St. Joseph's College of engineering is not too high. The overall average salary packages offered for IT department record in my college is 6 LPA.

    College Infrastructure

I am a passionate student studying B. Tech Information technology (4 years course) in St. Joseph's College of Engineering. Now I am in pre final year. The college provides a well-maintained campus with modern computer labs, a good library, and facilities that support technical growth. The atmosphere is positive and suitable for focused study.

    Academics

Academics in my college are well organized, and the college motivates students to go beyond the syllabus. I was part of the PEP domain in Cloud Computing, which gave me strong exposure to industry-level learning. With the support of this program, I earned the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, an internationally recognized certification.

    Placements

Placement opportunities from my college are good with many reputed IT companies visiting. The training in coding, aptitude, and cloud skills makes students more career-ready. PEP domain programs add real value to placement preparation.

St. Joseph's College of Engineering campus is big and well maintained. Classrooms are neat and labs have good number of systems for practice. My College Environment is peaceful and supportive for study.

    Academics

My college academics are strong in my department. I liked my college very much because faculty encouraged me to do well. I was given ₹10,000 award for scoring above 9 CGPA every year which motivated me more.

    Placements

Placements are good with many IT companies visiting. Training programs are there to prepare students for coding and interviews. I got selected into HOPE (House of Programming Expertise) which helped me to improve my programming skills a lot.

    Value for Money

Fees is little high but students who perform well get encouragement and extra opportunities, so it feels worth.
