College buildings look old and not well maintained. Classrooms are dull, fans and lights sometimes not work. Labs have broken equipment and hostel is not clean. The infrastructure of college is not attractive.
Teaching quality is poor, classes are boring and rushed. No proper practical learning. Many teachers not explain topics well, making it hard for students to understand. The hands on experience is required for students in college
Very few companies visit the campus. Most students have to search job outside. Salary offers are low and placement process is not supportive for all students. The procedure of placements in SJCE is hard
I am pursuing 3rd year IT in St. Joseph's College of Engineering. The college have all basic facility but not modern. Classrooms are ok but sometime fans not working. Labs have needed equipments but some are old. Hostel clean is average.
Teaching is normal but classes not much interesting. Some subjects explain well but some rush in syllabus. Practical knowledge is less and need more hands on training. Always they focus on CGPA, marks not in skills development.
Placement is good for some branch. Many company visit and give decent salary. Process is easy but few student not get job from campus. The quality of placements at St. Joseph's College of Engineering is good.
Fee is high but some worth because of placement chance. But for academics improvement needed to full value.
Campus is big and green. Many event happen and student enjoy fest. Friends and staff are supportive. Safety is good and location easy to reach.
Hi everyone. I am student from St. Joseph's College of Engineering in OMR, Chennai. I am very happy to write a review about my College. My college's infrastructure was too badly affected. No improvement made in this college facilities. The sport centres are not well maintained. The classrooms in this college are looking so old.
The teaching and mentoring staffs, coordinators, faculties are not good. There are very very strict rules in St. Joseph's College of Engineering. The dress code, rules are too strictly followed in this college. The curriculum following by this college is never changed to recent digital world.
The quality of placements is too worst. Because the placements will be not guarantee for everyone. There also strict rules are following. I heard from my seniors that if one student got selected by one company. He cannot allowed to attend other companies placements interviews.
This college costs huge money (nearly 5 lakhs per year) for course. I feel that getting this amount of money is not worthy. Because nowadays the company's expectations are very high, but no improvements made in studies till now.
The campus life is really worst for me. Because entertainment activities is not encouraged in this college. My College life expectations are too spoiled after joined this college.
The college infrastructure has all the necessary facilities, equipments. The living spaces in rooms of St. Joseph's College of Engineering . The library facilities, hostel facilities, food quality, all are fine
The teaching quality is fine. In the Book Bank, we have more than 13,223 titles of textbooks. In addition to the central library, students can get a maximum of 7 books which they can retain for the whole semester.This helps to gain good CGPA in exams.
The opportunity that the placements from St. Joseph's College of Engineering is always good. The percentage of students were placed through my college is i don't know about that exactly. The placement process is not easy

The academics that i studying is not updated. But the quality of teaching is good. The curriculum is always same . The management that not involve in includes all the recent developments in the field during my college life.
The college on-campus placements are well and good for students. The quality of placements at my college is surely nice. The percentage of students were placed through my college is nearly 80 to 90 i think so.

The College Academic is very traditional Method Only Followed. so No Development in curriculum of the subjects related to Department in my College. The Quality of teaching in my College is not in good Level.
There is very Löw Quality of Placements at my St. JOSEPH'S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING in Chennai. The percentage of students studied in this College were not guarenteed placements . The salary package offered for Course is low.

So, you can not expect that Studnet of the year college life instead you will feel like you are still studying in a school. The restrictions and disciplines are on the next levels that most of the students do not prefer much because colleges are meant for overall development.
