I don't know where to start. The college is the place where people allowed during some natural disaster. But our college is already constructed in a lake which question marks the safety.Students exposure is highly a myth according to us.They only need academic reports but still, they fail to achieve that too.All paying tons of bugs only for their placement but 80percent of students did'nt get any placement. The Managing Director thoughts are only to.harasss students mentally. They think that inside their we are slaves. If anyone wants to join please give a thought of above-said points and still, there are many complaints but due to restriction i did'nt post it here.

Excellent Infrastructure and Faculties. Above all Mess food is awesome. Even the students who hate it to the core will never regret the mess food. NGO visits are taken once in a semester and it will be a nice time enjoying with orphans. Culturals once in a year. Club activities are rare. Not much industrial exposure, only once in a semester. Placements are good but only in IT sector and core aspirants feel it difficult. Hell lots of exams in one semester for internal marks. If you are a hard worker in studies\sports, I recommend this college , otherwise please stay away from it. Strictly not for those who want to enjoy college life like the ones you see in movies. But for those who want to achieve something in life, this college is best!!

Focuses only on scoring.pressurising with lots of work.no extra exposure to other technical things.but helping fr placement.faculties or good.follows large procedures while taking leave.food is good.college timing is not good. Difficult to wake up that early.semester leave is not awarded properly.we get only less leave.college is working on almost all saturdays.Ragging is not allowed in this college. It conveys any sort of informations directly as mail or message and this is a appreciable thing. No college tour.No long trip IV.sports are only for sports students.very tight schedule. No gap between the periods.

The college has good facilities for the students, especially from my department. Food is amazing and all tests are conducted in a regular basis to help us. There's also discipline and fun at the same time. There are proper bus routes to every place and it's convinient

Pros: 1.High quality and tasty food compared to all the other colleges around chennai. 2.Formal dress code with tie for a professional experience. 3.Rules are made just to keep students in track. P.S rules are flexible sometimes. 4.Encourages to have a Friendly interaction between faculty and students. 5.Encourages students to attend most of the classes 6.BEC certificate 7.PLACEMENT TRAINING from 2nd sem onwards Cons: 1.It is not a college to enjoy these 4yrs 2.only 4 days of leave per semester 3.Placement in core companies for department other than CSC,IT is very less.

The college is good in faculty , Infrastructure, Library and especially food. But when it comes to placement only It sector company arrives. There are some rare cases of core industries. The expectations of enjoying a college life can npyybe surely filled as there a bit strict when it comes to discipline and attendance

Attractive to parents - adaptive rules and placements

This college is a good place to be, if you are ready to adapt yourself to any kind of rules implemented (either academic or some other). The basic facility available here is unbeatable. Famous for food and festival treats (no other college can provide such). For exam point of view, they provide many study materials. The 'college life' what you imagine is difficult to see here. Have good placements. CTS, Infosys and Wipro are the major companies hiring a lot number of students. Few core companies come which hire in very less number comparatively. Hostel facility is superb here with all the facilities needed. Recommended to someone who is ready to follow the rules.

Horrible college

This college is very horrible, the food is OK, not great, faculty and staff are very rude to students, very strict rules and no flexibility, no freedom at all, they treat us like children and fools, they hire attendees to enforce discipline in the campus ,they will destroy your social life and put it in front of a chainsaw, infrastructure is not modern, classrooms are very dirty, placements in this college are ok, but you won't have a college life like you'll expect, the hostel rooms are not properly maintained, since I study in this college , I would highly recommend not to join this college if you actually want to survive

Good education although we had some strict rules

Posted on 02 Oct' 16 by Nivetha Judith
Batch of 2014 | BE Electronics and Communication Engineering
Infrastructure is really good. And quality education is given. Almost all professors teach really well. But we had some weird rules as well but it was okay as it made us more disciplined. No idea about hostel as I was a day scholar but have heard from hostelites that it was good to stay. We used to get lunch and breakfast in college. Food was quite good since they had to cook for whole lot of Crowd. We used to have industrial visits that helped us in studies somewhat. Best part was we had orphanage visits where we had the opportunity to help the needy. That gave a lot of satisfaction and we always enjoyed being with them.

When I did my pg in st joseph college, Chennai where ever I go for competition I felt that most of the students are seeing us with some unique and respectful view because of our college brand. even when I attempt many interviews I felt when I say I am from st joseph college they are merging my qualities with the college brand name. so I didn't do much to show myself because half of the things are done by my college brand in the market

To be true hated the college but enjoyed it with my friends

The college could function much better , it's all because of the stupid management changing the rules very often. It's very difficult for the students to adapt to their rules. And the faculty could show some discipline they are here like as if they are in parade ground training a team for an army but with no sense . Totally it's an overrated college.

Infrastructure is good. Only a handful of faculties are good and approachable. Even if fathers go with beard, they are not allowed to enter until they have it shaved. I was once not allowed to enter without shaving when I went to receive my consolidated mark sheet. They made me get drenched in rain , walk 1.5 km to get a razor , have it shaved in the street, wash it off with a purchased bottle of water and only then let me in. The director is all craze for money. He has 10 cars himself and is counting for more. I dont suggest this college for even the worst of my enemies.

The college has a very good memory reputation among the residents in and around Chennai as it ranks one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu province. The faculty are very good with sound technical knowledge and willing to share knowledge with the interest of students benefit. The college has got very well defined rules, which make the student life hard and become too hectic on a longer term. The College infrastructure is on par with the other engineering colleges. When comes to the placements of engineering students which is considered as a transition from college to corporate life. The college gives out their best to students during the placements and most of the eligible students get placed during that period. The students who are interested for their own core industry was also satisfied with the college as they invite few core industry to recruit their students. Happy Ending !

The college is streamlined towards good education and disciplined students. The food and transport is a definite plus. Most of the rules and exams may feel like a stress and hindrance, but on the long run it helps improve efficiency. The college has a good competitive training for placements and hold a decent placement record.

The four years of my engineering was stuffed with assignments, industrial visits, regular exams etc. The college has its own rules and regulations which are quite tough to follow. The dress code is one thing that the college could change. The mess food is awesome. The college infrastructure is good and is equipped with all kinds of labs.

The attendence is very strictly monitored, very short break times, dress code is checked very strictly, not all faculty are great, staff differentiate alot between toppers and weaker students, alot of discrimination is there, weaker students are insulted alot, parents are called for anything and everything, food alone is excellent, the hostel is horrible, the ceilings drip water, there is water shortage during the summer, the rooms art not very clean. Good place for studious students not an enjoyable life.

I had a very good experience in this college. Some of the faculty members are really helpful in clearing our doubts regarding the subjects. In this college there is ABHS, where the counseling for higher studies are given along with the coachings for GATE GRE entrance exams with minimum fee which is very useful for us.Many students are recruited from the top most IT companies and some of the core companies.Apart from this, the model exams conducted in our college and some of the rules and regulations creates a little stress. Our college used to arrange NGOs and IVs to the nearby homes and companies for each semester.Few workshops are conducted in our college in which some of them are usefull. The quality of food offered by our college is good and there will be the special items during the festival times. The hostelites used to celebrate all the festivals and total freedom is given to them to follow their own way of worship.

"I will write this review based on different types of students 1. For studios ones this college is the best one you have access to educational resources and notes, library and good faculty and aslo excellent placement training. 2.For students who are interested in extra-curricular activities , college doesn't offer much importance but there are some activities which are orients towards your placements. 3.Hostel students will enjoy their life very much , they will be strict in the first year but from second year you are fully free and hostel food is excellent and other facilities are also good. 4.College on overall is not so strict but depending on the dept it may go up or down."

My college is best known for its food

G.Jeevitha Priyadarshini
Posted on 18 Jun' 15 by G.Jeevitha Priyadarshini
"First of all , my college is best known for its food. People daily cook for over 7000 members with utmost taste and hygiene , believe me you will grow fat when you join us. Next coming to my college life which is full of regularities I am supposed to say about the strict rules and regulations of my college. First of all looking onto the dress code ..... For girls- chudidhars and sarees only, kindly note down that ur salwars don't have slits on either sides next leggings is strictly prohibited. For boys- formals with tie and leather shoes compulsory. regular hair cut and shave is strictly checked. my hostel life: coming to the hostel life of josehites, we are not permitted to have mobile phones whereas other colleges students fight for wifi connection. sometimes water problems may arise in summers making our day harder. Otherwise we are very much pleased with the other infrastructures. Apart from this rules and restrictions, i love my college like my home.best faculty members and college test systems are our strengths. Best library with large collection of books is waiting for you. Moreover our managing director, being himself a sports person offers full fee waivers for sports students. therefore i recommend this college for state-board students and strictly not for CBSE students who aim at studies through thorough knowledge.similarly i recommend this college for calm students who don't expect outing.sports students have s bigger future here. Be ready to come for colleges on Saturdays also......Be prepared for daily class tests also.... I would like to give my college 3.75/5 as overall score Thank you so much "
