The Surya College of Nursing B.Sc Nursing admission process is on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in the 10+2 examination, which emphasises their performance in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates are also required to take the nursing entrance examination, as per the Karnataka Nursing Council.
Surya College of Nursing offers Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme of two years which accommodates an intake of 45 students. The GNM-diploma registered nurse after successfully passing this examination. Generally admission takes place considering candidate performance and his/ her working experience as nursing field candidate in any preceding programme he has completed.
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course is a three-year diploma programme with an intake capacity of 60 students. Surya College of Nursing admission to the GNM programme is usually based on the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examination, with a preference for students who have studied science subjects.
