The campus hosts Six hostels, four on the Main campus and two in Malti and Jal A.D. Naoroji Campus Annexe. The hostels can accommodate approximately 500 students. Students of full-time Master's MPhil and Ph.D. degree programs can avail of the hostel facility. But regrettably, due to limited capacity, hostel admission is dependent on the availability of seats.

The University College has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
The University library includes books about History, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Education, Women’s Studies, Mathematics, Science, Language, Literature, and Development. Additionally, the library houses books and back volumes of journals donated by individuals and institutions.
The Computer Centre, one of the support units, is responsible for IT Service Management. Some of the key services provided as part of the IT policy include the following: Information and Network Security; Risk Management; Software Asset Management; Open Source Resources and Green Computing (in progress). IT infrastructure has a five-year cycle for upgradation and maintenance contracts. Online teaching resources include Moodle, and Dspace, and online packages and databases include R statistical package, SPSS, GIS lab, etc.
The University has good networking for the alumni association.
There are two health centers, one on the main campus near hostel no. two and the other one in the new campus ground floor hostel no. five.
The University Dining Hall (DH) serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The Institute manages it on a no-profit no-loss basis. The DH Committee, which comprises student representatives, looks after the DH matters under the Chairpersonship of a faculty member. Packed Lunch is available on Field Work Days for students on request—section Officer: Ms. Nirmala Momin Extension Number: 5215.
The Gymkhana, located on the main campus, is a two-story building and has space for a well-equipped Gymnasium and space for Yoga. There is a full-fledged indoor badminton court, two trendy table tennis boards, and other indoor games like carrom. Mr. Abhijit Tandel, the Gym Instructor has been with TISS since July 2008. The Gym has three electronic and one manual treadmill, two cycles, dumbbells and plates, Leg Extensions & many more.

The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
The Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
TISS Hyderabad provides you all the basic infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The whole campus is provided with WiFi, each ad every classroom has smart boards and projectors. The whole campus and the sports area are taken care of very cleanly and are well-maintained.

Most students pursuing MA in Rural Development are placed in organisations such as NGOs working on rural development, community mobilisation etc.
However State rural livelihood missions also recruit students pursing this course.
