The infrastructure here is good equipped with all the basic and necesaary things which you will need throughout your four years of engineering. Hostels are provided for both boys and girls in the campus. Wifi is also available. Food is good if you are a local here otherwise its not that good but you will get used to it in a month or two.
I am enrolled in information science and engineering. Our college is affiliated to vtu but its an autonomous college. So the curriculum is very up to date according to the industry needs. Teachers here are very good in helping you if you have any kind of doubts. Some of teachers will be below average but thats the case of every other engineering college of our country even my friends in iits are not very much impressed by some of the professors there.
Placement is the thing which every student of nie can boast about. Even my reason for choosing this college is its placement. Taking about cs and ise dept. Every guy will get placed with 2-3 offers with average package of around 7-8 lpa. From the last 2 years students from this college are getting placed in microsoft at 46.5 lpa. Placement should not be a thing to worry in nie if you are from cs ise and ece. Branches like eee and mech has something around 4.5 avg. Package.
My tution fee + college fee amounta to 2.32 lpa so for four years it would be something around 9.30 lpa which quite costly and i feel its not worth the money looking at the things we are getting in this college. Id you come from kcet quota then this college is a very good deal as their fees is just 50k per annum. Hostel fee is around 85k and 3 sharing for boys.
Campus of my college is very beautiful. It is full of greenery. Their is no ragging here in the campus. All the seniors are like elder brothers and sisters. Some fo the Teachers are also very friendly and are ready to solve your doubt any point of time. We have a club called IEEE where students can take part in various coding competitions and hackathons. Loaction of the college is also very godd as it is situated in mysuru very clean and safe place.
Facilities and infrastructure is quite good. Everything is available in compact space. Wi-Fi is available in the campus. One need to register for the same and one cannot access the same with mobile phone. Library has restriction and one can access it from 9am to 8pm on weekdays. Sunday is closed. Library is closed on national holidays The condition of classroom is average. There is a canteen in the clg campus. Facilities are praiseworthy in the hostels but the food is not up to mark.
Most of the teachers here are experienced and very knowledgeable. Majority of them have PhDs from IITs. There are also senior lecturers who guide students in every aspect of the course and also clear their doubts. The course curriculum is updated in every three years. The way they teach is very good.
NIE has very good campus placement. Around 90% of CSE & ISE Students got placed. The highest package offered was 29.5 Lacs per Annum by Cisco. Almost every student got internship in good companies. Famous company like Cisco, HP, Infosys, Mercedes, TCS, Wipro visit campus. For our branch the highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3.9 LPA. Bosch was the top recruiting company for our course.
Our college organises a fest named Technicks which was celebrated for a week. The was a huge crowd on the campus. Many activities were conducted. We can have very good entertainment. There's an IoT lab too with the latest stuff and teachers with sound knowledge to help you. Faculty members in our course are well experienced and helpful. There is a branch fest. There is a sports complex too.
The infrastructure is good , the college is big and spacious it has enough class room with All the modern technology equipments and Necessaries . The College is provided with SmartBoard Wi-Fi and all the modern technology equipments. Our laboratories has The new technological equipment’s i’ll college sounding it’s clean and hygienic. The food given in hostel is also good
I am starting industrial and production engineering because I am interested in industrial studies the quality of teaching in our college is good the curriculum Is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field
Our college Is among the top colleges in India it is well known for its placements . Almost 80% of students get placed in well-known companies like Bosch,Infosys ,Benz ,Audie,Intel windows etc.The highest paid salary was 80,000 per month and the least salary offered is around 20,000 per month
My course cost 40,000 per year I guess the money’s worth because the quality of education is good because we have well experienced lecturers and infrastructure of the college and environment is also good
I will college has almost 3 buildings which are spacious enough to accommodate many number of classrooms in each classroom is enough spacious to accommodate around 150 to 170 students we have sports ground sports complex with all the equipments provided for sports
Are colleges among the top colleges in India and I recommend my college is best college for engineering
i think the college infrastructure is nice but the building is too old because it is there since 1947. classrooms are bit old in GJB but its good in NRN block . hostel is good for girls but bit congested for boys .
Academics is excellent, teaching quality is good , curriculum is meant for future upcoming engineers according to present requirements in companies . I think one should choose NIE for better future in life
In NIE placement is good for all branches especially the placements are good for mechanical if we compare the placement of other colleges.therefore we can choose mechanical or other core branches for better placement.
Yes it has all the infrastructure it's pretty good and comfortable the are all types of lab requirements and in good quality and there are very good for the the Students there are smart boards and the food is very hygienic
The studies are good the each department according the requirement they bring professor having PhD and other higher educational qualification and this pretty much helps a student through the daily collage life
The placements are good they are pretty much interested in the college it is famous for its placements and they are pretty good at getting as many companies as possible for the welfare of the students
It depends on how one gets admitted through for my CET fee it's pretty good at 50k
Campus life is pretty good all the time
It was great
NIE has a good infrastructure , campus has all infrastructure and all well equipied labs and sports complex . classroom having smart projectors to teach laboratory is good , library was the best and vast . Boys hostel is qyite conjusted but girls hostel was good
Studying Mechanical engineering as it was one of the topmost college in karnataka for mechanical as it has well experienced faculty member and placement team . The curriculum was excellent which was choosen y the departments
NIE has very good placements . as i am fresher i dont know much about the placement percentage but we heard that it has good placement for all the branches . for eg.for mechanical companies like mercedes will come
For CET aided seat fee is 19090 . For CET un-aided seat fee is 58880 . for comed K its around 2.3 lk per year and the college fee will cost around 20,000 . for management quota seat it depends on branch and it costs in or around 10 lk
Campus is bit small and its quite silent as college doesnot encourage ragging and other stuffs the students can lead a peace life in the campus . teaching and non teaching staff are responsive and its located next to mananthavady road so thats bit traffic
Overall the college is GOOD
College is divided into three blocks but it has nice infrastructure and it's is located in good environment ( traffic less area).all facilities and equipments are good.all type of study materials are available in library.yearly clg day is celebrated in a very grand way , all type of sports are encouraged.hostels are very nice..free WiFi is available 24/7.food is hygienic
I am studying be mechanical engineering.national institute of engineering is top for mechanical branch which have 100 percent placements.this is all becoz of good standard faculty.national institute of engineering have eicher workshop which is the only workshop in South india.this makes mechanical engineers to learn about modern things and modern curriculum
For mechanical branch it has 100 percent placements.it is also good for cse and ece.the highest salary package was about 21 laks for cse branch. the placement process is very easy and pleasant.clg is very supportive for placement process..
As I got admission through comedk , my fee is 2.3 lak per year..if u get admission through kcet it costs around 30k to 40k.
College campus is divided into three blocks which are somewt far from each other..but infrastructure and environment is very pleasant.students can learn alot from clg.all faculty members are very frndly..we also have confession group in which we can confess our prbls.every semester a meeting will be held between students and hod of department about the quality of faculty.if we have any issues with faculty we can confess there and get solution for that issues.
At present i am second semester student of mechanical engineering.all faculty members are very frndly..there is ntg more than being frndly with faculty so that we can learn more things about subject..moreover the Important modern type mechanism will be teach here even though it is not part of syllabus.so from my side it is best clg in way of learning modern subjects, have physical activities, workshops etc...
