Our college has good infrastructure, campus is spread across 15acres land. The main building is equipped with highly facilitated labs of all the departments. The electrical and electronics building which was inaugurated in 2017 is equipped with all modern facilities. The Diamond jubilee block is for classroom teaching. NIE Mysore is generally ranked higher by prominent ranking agencies. For instance, according to NIRF, NIE is ranked in the 151-200 band, while VVCE falls into the 251-300 band.NIE appears to have slightly better placement records, with a higher highest package of 56 LPA and an average package of 9 LPA compared to VVCE's 33 LPA and 6 LPA respectively.
While VVCE offers a good learning environment and encourages student activities, NIE's stronger reputation, better placement records, and autonomous status make it the preferred choice for those seeking a Computer Science-related field.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your individual preferences, career goals, and the specific program details you are looking for. It is recommended to thoroughly research both institutions, consider campus visits if possible, and talk to current students or alumni to gain a deeper understanding before making a decision.
