What is a B.Tech LLB programme?

B.Tech LLB is a six-year (three+three), integrated, dual degree bachelor-level programme, designed to provide comprehensive, theoretical and practical knowledge for students harbouring an interest in both technical and legal subjects. During the first three years, students will be taught all about the engineering stream they have chosen in detail, and the following three years will entirely cater to the law side of things. It combines both B.Tech. and LLB course, hence named as B.Tech LLB dual degree programme. B.Tech is an undergraduate programme in technology discipline. Engineering aspirants wishing to enroll in B.Tech. are required to complete 10+2 in physics, chemistry and mathematics. On the other hand, LLB is a postgraduate programme offered in law discipline. Individuals wishing to enroll in it are required to complete an undergraduate degree programme in any discipline except performing arts.

The B.Tech LLB programme spans over 12 semesters, with both theoretical subjects and practical laboratory sessions involved.

What is B.Tech LLB full form?

B.Tech LLB stands for Bachelor of Technology- Bachelor of Legislative Law. It is a dual degree integrated programme. B.Tech LLB is a six-year programme, spanning twelve semesters, which provides applicants with an intensive undergraduate level knowledge in the field of technology and law. Along with theory, students get hands-on practical training in workshops for a well-rounded experience in their field of choice. Engineering is the study of principles of physics, chemistry, mathematics and computer science and its application that leads to development of technologies improving the life standards of mankind. In other words, we can define engineering as the invention of machines that brings an ease in human work with the constant innovation of technology.

Any state ruled by constitution has numerous laws to safeguard the rights of its citizens and protect them from being exploited by powerful or superior forces. There are numerous types of state laws such as civil law, immigration law, criminal law, human rights law, international business law, corporate law, patent law and other laws. To practice law or to become a lawyer, individuals are required to pursue a specialised degree in law.
