is it really necessary to refer reference books for physics (NEET)? -may I know why ncert is not sufficient even though syllabus is based on ncert textbooks??

Prakarsh Kaushik 5th Apr, 2020

Hello,

No, NCERTs are not sufficient as they are good only for concept building. They don't have enough questions and examples to practise.

However, NCERT Chemistry is sufficient if you Mug up all the Intext Questions, Examples and Exercise Question. For Physics and Biology you need to refer to reference books as the key to cracking competitive exams like NEET is practising as many questions as you can.

Some of the reference books you can refer to are -

  1. IR Irodov - Physics
  2. HC Verma -  Physics
  3. Trueman's Objective Biology
  4. RC Mukherjee - Chemistry
  5. OP Tandon - Chemistry

You can also take help of this NEEt Knockout package to increase your chances of qualifying NEET with good score - https://learn.careers360.com/knockoutfull-neet-may/?icn=neet-knockout-lpage&ici=navigation-header_neet

Hope this was helpful

sushmitha M 5th Apr, 2020

Hi,

It is always better late than never, You still have a lot of time for your JEE mains, both 11th and 12th chapters are equally important for Mains and sufficiently dividing time for both is very important so allot sufficient amount of time for the revision of 11th chapters as well because it will be difficult for you if you completely depend on 12th chapters. If you spend your remaining time in a planned manner you can easily crack JEE Mains.

how can i compelete my syllabus for neet in just 1 amd half month my paremts are not allowing for subcription with money plzzz help me??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 4th Apr, 2020
Hello Kanika

Hope you are doing well

I won't lie but preparing for neet from scratch in 1.5 months is extremely difficult, so I hope that your basics are clear but yes if you are ready to do hardwork and prepare with dedication then nothing is impossible.

Now that only 1.5 months are left, what you need to do is smart study, you need to focus on following things:-

  • conceptual clarity of the topics in the syllabus ,you should follow ncert as most of the questions are directly based on concepts from ncert . Also you don't have time to follow bulky books.

  • practice of mcqs as you know neet is all about mcqs :- To practice mcqs , you can follow neet - aipmt previous year question papers by arihant for each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

  • time to time revision, as there's no point of preparing for neet if you couldn't recall anything during neet examination, so you should stress on revision as well. So you can revise once in a week.

  • You need to follow a routine and religiously follow it, study for at least 8-10 hours, devote at least 4 hours in solving numericals and mcqs.

  • Just be positive and study , and you will be able to ace your neet examination.

To prepare well for neet examination go through out crash course for which link is provided below

Good luck

Being a humanities background of class 10+2, which one would be good for me in future"BBA in shipping" or "BBA in SCM and logistics"? AS well as writing its eligibility and syllabus for this courses. And which one would be easy to take for further studying in this course?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 4th Apr, 2020

hi,

see candidates from any stream can learn bba which stands for bachelor in business management., however bba shipping includes the syllabus of shipping business management, import export, liner trade, port operations and charting, customs procedure, transportation and distribution management.

whether bba in scm and logistics includes the studies of supply chain management, logistics, also includes the area of general management studies like operations, finance . from recent market demands bba in scm and logistics is better option.
