Adil Suaib Khan Student Expert 4th Apr, 2020

Hii Sonia,

IPMAT is for admissions to the 5years integrated BBA+MBA course at IIM Indore. The IPMAT or the Integrated program management ability test is highly competitive exam . There about 66 seats for the general category and 120 in total . It 2 sections Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability where QA carries 60 marks and VA has 40 marks respectively.

The entrance test for getting admissions in the 5 year integrated course of the Indian Institute of management Indore is quite difficult and you have to study vigorously for clearing the entrance test to get a seat in IIM. For the maths part you need to get your class 11th and 12th maths basics clear by your boards books prescribed by the boards or you can do R.D sharma complete to have a through knowledge . For english you can do the book ' Word Power Made easy ' as it helps for the verbal aptitude part . Doing this will ensure you getting a lot of marks. Furthermore you have to get use to reading newspapers like the hindu or the indian express and the economic times. Which one would be better to pursue after class 10+2,BBA in shipping or BBA in logistics & supply chain management? How it differs with each other and which one is tougher(in terms of syllabus)? And which has more Opportunities in terms of future perspective?

Suvakanta Sahu 3rd Apr, 2020

Dear Anish ,

Shipping ,Inventory ,Inbound ,Outbound ,Procurement, freight  it is all part of logistics .Without mixture of everything logistics will not work .BBA in shipping and BBA in logistics both are equal there is no difference between shipping and logistics .Shipping is a part of Logistics .

Where shipping is deals with Shipping ,freight ,reverse logistics ,inbound logistics with outbound logistics.

So In terms of syllabus it will may be different but every university having own syllabus  so , it will  difficult to answer the same , Due to as per your query not mention the particular syllabus .

Both are having equal opportunity for career growth .For better or bright future after Graduation you can pursue for Master in logistics .

Thanks
