Candidates are expected to have programming experience equivalent to a 1-semester program. While C would suffice, Python would be optimum

Quizzes conducted on a weekly basis allow unlimited attempts. They don’t carry any grades and are for those who choose to audit the course. On the other hand, students who choose to get certified officially will have an exam to pass. This happens at the end of the course

Admission Details
The admission process of the Digital Design course consists of three stages: Account verification, Track selection, and Payment. These are elaborated on, as follows:
Step 1: Account verification phase
The option to enroll is available in the upper half of the program webpage. You may either sign in to your existing edX account or create a new one by following the on-screen instructions. In case of the latter, you will need to provide your first and last name, a public username (subject to availability), a valid email address, and a strong password. Finally, please indicate your country of residence from the attached drop-down list.
Step 2: Track selection phase
Once your login to the edX account is successful, the following two tracks will be presented to you for selection. Please make an informed decision based on your career goals:
- Certification track: This path leads to an official and verified certificate with the logo of the institution that references your work, thereby having a better impact on potential recruiters in the digital space. Please note that this is a paid path, the cost for which is mentioned in the tuition fee section
- Audit the course: This pathway will allow the students to be part of the program on an audit basis, meaning that the course content and its various forums will be available albeit in a timed manner. It will not include assignment scores and unlimited retakes are allowed
This is an important phase and thus should be taken with utmost sincerity.
Step 3: Payment phase
Your decision in the previous step will determine if this phase applied to you. It is detailed as follows:
- For those who opt to audit the program, the program content expiration date will be made available at this point. It does still give you the option to pay and have the expiration date gotten rid of. However, for those who would like to have no monetary investments made, the content will be cleared in 6 weeks. Thus, you should plan your program access accordingly
- Conversely, if you opt to go for the full certification, this phase does apply to you. You will be taken to a secure payment page. All major credit cards are accepted. Examples of service providers include MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. edX has also added PayPal to our repertoire recently. Once the payment is successful, your certified learning experience shall begin.

The Digital Design program does not have an application form. The application steps have been covered in realistic detail in one of the previous sections.

The examination portion of this program is applicable only to those who need to get certified. As mentioned earlier, a terminal examination needs to be cleared in order to be eligible for the same.
