The Digital Design certification finds applications in a wide variety of fields such as mobile phones, vehicles, medicine, and computers. This industry has grown several folds over the last 2 decades, resulting in significant blue-collar careers around the world. Moreover, computing systems constitute the main elements of computer engineering.
The Digital Design training delivered at edX focuses on elementary-level information relating to the building blocks of digital systems. Electronic circuits and logic gates will be covered in detail from a practical standpoint. The objective will be to combine simple blocks into a more robust structure. As a result, advanced digital structures will be possible.
You will find the course pedagogy fun, which would lead to better concept reception. It lends immense value to being in the designer’s seat of a project. Another inherent advantage of electronics is that the components are more economical than other fields of engineering such as Mechanical and Electrical. The candidates who enrol in any track of the course will be able to progress at their speed. Both tracks - audit and verified may be opted for by the candidates for finishing the course. If the candidates want to learn for free without a certificate they may choose the audit track which is open for a limited period of access. For unlimited paid access the students should switch over to the verified track.
