Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram as an institute of national importance offers financial aid in the form of IIST scholarships for students to enroll in different programmes of study. The main purpose of IIST scholarships is to ensure that educational goals are not subjected to any form of financial limitations. The undergraduate students are provided with the Department of Space Technology (DoS) scholarships which have tuition waivers and other benefits such as book grants and are done as per the approval of the Board of Governors instituting these scholarships. The eligibility criteria for taking admission in India Institute of space Technology Thiruvananthapuram Kerala student has to past 12 science physics chemistry mathematics and English with at least 75% marks and have to appear for a entrance test conducted by the Indian Institute of Space Technology, Candidate has to appear for an entrance test like JEE advanced JEE mains,ugc net,GATE . The eligibility criteria for admission in IIST in the year of 2020 has been changed and the normal procedures of admission is issued for taking admission in different courses of IIST.

As per the rules of JEE MAINS & ADVANCED if you want to don't appear for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED 2022 then also you are eligible for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED 2023 but there is a catch.
JEE MAINS have maximum of 3 attempts i.e., the first attempt is considered to be the year you are in 10+2, the other 2 attempts are in the post 10+2 consecutive years. JEE ADVANCED have maximum of 2 attempts i.e., the first is considered to the year of 10+2 & the other 1 year post 10+2.
So even if you don't sit for the JEE MAINS & ADVANCED keep in mind that for JEE MAINS you will have 1 attempt left after JEE MAINS 2023 & for JEE ADVANCED it would be your final attempt.

IIST has the infrastructure for computing, information systems and networking facilities to fulfill all academic needs of students as well as academic empowerment of the faculty. The computers are well configured and functional in many academic departments with well enabled workstations and software packages.
The IIST consists of four dining areas, namely Aditi, Akshaya, Tripthi, Subhiksha which houses over 150 people and offers students and faculty hygienic and quality food. There are cafes inside the Aerospace building campus, in the physical science building and in the gate complex, where snacks and meals are sold.
