Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that you can pursue an MSc Hons in Botany from Delhi University with a BSc General from IGNOU, due to the following reasons:
1. Specific Subject Requirement:
Most MSc Botany programs, especially at prestigious universities like Delhi University, require a strong foundation in Botany at the undergraduate level. A BSc General degree, which covers a broader range of subjects, might not meet the specific subject requirements.
2. Entrance Exam:
Delhi University often conducts entrance exams for its postgraduate programs.

The syllabus for these exams is usually based on the undergraduate Botany curriculum. A BSc General background might put you at a disadvantage.
If you're keen on pursuing Botany at the postgraduate level, consider the following options:

Admits to the top 50 universities depend upon a number of reasons including, GMAT, managerial Work experience, application essays, previous GPA, references etc.
You do seem to have a chance in a number of business schools. However, guaranteed placement after completion is something which is not offered by the top institutions. They do, however, give you ample opportunities to connect with their alumni and give you industry exposure.
Hope this answers your question.
DO connect if you have more questions.
Best wishes
Yes, pursuing a US CPA licensure and a certification in Data Science and ML could be a very good option for you
The combination of US CPA (accounting, finance) and Data Science/ML is unique and valuable. Businesses increasingly need professionals who understand both financial data and how to analyze it using advanced techniques.
This combination can open doors to exciting career opportunities in areas like financial data analysis, risk management, fraud detection, and financial modeling with a data-driven approach. Your back-office operations experience can provide valuable context for applying data analysis to real-world business problems.
Both US CPA licensure and Data Science/ML certification require significant dedication. Research the time commitment for each and plan accordingly. There will be costs associated with exams, study materials, and potentially data science/ML bootcamps. Budget accordingly. There are various data science/ML certifications available. Explore options that align with your career goals (e.g., Python for Data Science, Google Cloud Professional Data Scientist).

Yes, both your Diploma in Engineering (regular) and IGNOU graduation (distance) will likely be valid. Here's why:
Distance Education Regulations: The UGC permits pursuing a graduation program through distance education (like IGNOU) while enrolled in a regular diploma program.
No Time Overlap: Since your diploma is regular mode and IGNOU is distance mode, there's no clash in attending classes, making it manageable.
However, a couple of points to consider:
University/Institute Rules: Double-check if your diploma program's university or institute has any specific regulations regarding pursuing another program simultaneously.
Time Management: Balancing a regular diploma and a distance graduation program requires good time management skills.
If you're unsure about your diploma program's rules, it's best to contact their administration for clarification. Overall, both degrees should be valid as long as they are from recognized institutions.
hope this helps you!!
Hello Aspirant
Yes, both of your degrees are valid as long as you are doing your Diploma in Engineering from a UGC-recognized college. The New Education Policy has enabled students to pursue two different degrees from two different institutions at the same time but one has to be regular and one has to be from Distance Education. If you are doing the same degree twice, it's called Dual Bachelor's or Dual Master's. So, in conclusion, yes both your degree will be valid as long as you pass both the courses.
Hope this helps
A B.Ed. from IGNOU may be recognized but requires additional assessments in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
Further qualifications or training might be necessary in each country.
Hello Aspirant
The eligibility criteria for UGC NET is that you need to be in a Master's program from a UGC-recognized College/University, be it 1st semester or last semester, there's no restriction on it. You need to check if the subject that you're doing your master's in, is actually a paper in the UGC NET exam. IGNOU is a well-recognised university and you are eligible to apply for UGC NET
Hope this helps
Even though it is a distance learning university, IGNOU has well-furnished regional and study centers. Library facilities are specially great – they have a huge collection of academic books, reference books, and journals. There is Wi-Fi in a few of the centers, and a hygienic cafeteria for students who are on campus for extended periods.
My study center is muralidhar college which is pretty decent college. the college staff was very rude ever since i been there for the first time they were very rude even changed some rules related to studies which they were not meant to.
It is an open university so we don't have ani specific building as our college. but the study center where we are elected to was nice. The faculty was nice too. clean classrooms, good professors and staff.
