Eligibility:
Possesses Masters Degree from a University recognized by UGC or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in such fields of study as are notified for the purpose from time to time by the University with at least 55% marks [50% marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Masters Degree prior to 19th September, 1991]excluding grace mark.

IGNOU is yet to release its online application form for D.El.ed course session 2020.

Eligibility :

• The untrained permanent teachers having passed 10+2 standard examination with 50% marks and above teaching at primary and elementary level (standard I to VIII) in recognized schools.

• The teachers should have minimum two years teaching experience at the time of seeking admission

Duration:

• The minimum period required to complete the programme is two year.
• However, the maximum period allowed for completion of the programme will be four years.

FEE:

• Rs. 12,000/- for the entire programme. The total fee has to be paid at the time of admission.

As per the rule of IGNOU, assignments for December session are usually submitted in the month of September, this is the norm IGNOU has been following till now, now the thing is till now assignments submission or exam form fill up for June session is still going on, as per the rule assignment submission for December Session is to begin from September onwards, but due to covid pandemic there's entire shift of academic schedule, the officials will announce all the detailed information at the official website regarding assignments submission or term end exam dates, you don't need to worry regarding this, stay updated at ignou.ac.in

You should go for distance graduation because you will get a lot of time to prepare for your govt. jobs. You can give more time to  your target.

If i talk about in which university you should take the admission you can go for either IGNOU or NSOU the degree of both is equally treated.

In my opinion IGNOU is best as is a central university and has been authorized to open study centers anywhere in the country whereas SMU is a private university having no authorisation to open study centers outside sikkim as per UGC notification.
