Course Overview

Certification Qualifying Details

Candidates who wish to acquire a digital certification in the course must upgrade their course/become an unlimited user. After that, the candidates must mark at least 90% of the course as well as attempt all the tests included in the course (if any). 1: What are the details of the instructors allotted for the course?

Two instructors are allotted to the candidates for this course. They are Kun Zhang, who works as a lecturer at the School of Tourism and Service Management, Nankai University; and Carson Lewis Jenkins, who is the visiting professor at the College of Tourism and Service Management, Nankai University.

2: Who is the developer of this programme?

The institution that offers this course at Nankai University. This university consists of 500 undergraduate and 185 postgraduate students, 38 academic and 38 support staff.

The procedures for free courses and upgraded courses are different. The candidates get three attempts for every question and only one chance to pass one test. If the candidates taking the free course fail a test, they must try again during the next run. In case the candidate is using an upgraded account, they can write to support@futurelearn.com regarding their queries.

7: What is the cost of this course?

The course is available free of cost to the learners. However, to qualify for certification benefits, the candidates must upgrade their accounts by paying a certain amount of fee.

8: If someone reviews my assignment, can I contact them in case of doubts?

No, it is against FutureLearn’s rules to provide any private information to the aspirants. However, the candidates can leave a comment about any step that they have a problem with and let the reviewer know.

9: Can I delete an assignment after submitting them?

The candidates are required to carefully read their assignments over before submitting because once submitted, there cannot be any edits made to the assignment and they cannot be deleted.

10: Are assignments compulsory?

Assignments are only for a better understanding of the candidates and are recommended to every candidate taking this course. However, it is not compulsory.
